Unless they take him out, Polanco...... there it is..... no chance for 6/6. Silly if you ask me. Day off tomorrow.... no need for rest. 25 year olds must need lots of rest. I guess he is almost 26.

It's a 162 game season with a pretty deep roster. I welcome any and all rest Baldelli can give his regulars throughout the year.

That has actually been a new tactic by the front office; the players get more mornings off, they're not supposed to take as much BP and not drill as often, etc.

It's a long season that beats the hell out of these players. Any time you can reduce the risk of them tiring and/or getting injured in moments that don't matter to the W-L record, take it.

Holy cow, I love this lineup! And we haven't even had Tortuga play for the last couple weeks!

Not to put the cart before the hoss, but Sano is crushing it on his rehab so far, too....

Is Rocco seriously pinch running for Polanco? Cmon man

Yet another opportunity to showcase Ehire for when Tortuga and Sano get back.

Has anyone seen more 'new pitchers' than eddie rosario? Seems like a pitching change happens right before his at bats more than others, whether in the middle of an inning or if he leads off an inning. Even in a slump opponents fear him.

I agree with the above. There is a noticeable difference this year with giving guys rest and maybe more importantly keeping everybody involved.

I think it’s a case of “taking the foot off the gas”. Even though the Twins are done with the Jays, it’s one of those “unwritten rules” to not show up the other team, especially in their park.

He doesn’t have much of a Lefty-Righty platoon split either, so what’s the point of pitching changes there..

This is rather unfair to the other team.

Life ain't fair. Let them make up for it when the go to Baltimore.

Oh I get it, and the process behind it. But when the guy has another chance for the cycle? So what. He's 25, and he gets to play baseball with a day off tomorrow. 25 year olds ain't what they used to be, I guess....... get that rest.

Cruz is having a pretty garbage game, which is a funny thing to say when the team is winning 9-1.

9 runs, 18 hits, an our 3-hitter is 0-6 with 3 Ks.
