Game Thread: Twins vs Tigers, 4/18 @ 12:10pm CT

Very nice outing by the Sire of Fort Meyer.

[operation mindcrime]

Please fire Wes Johnson!

Do you really want to fire the "Czar of velocity"?

[VATwinsFan]

That was a pretty uninspiring 3 up and 3 down.  Ack.

[drock2190]

Twins are deciding to swing or not before the pitcher even throws the ball today.

I always made chicken cordon blue for dates I wanted to impress. Super easy, but looks hard to make.

I should have gone that route. It was a "one skillet dish" that was supposed to be carbonara chicken but the recipe I found made a strange tasting sauce. Not good.

[twinsbaby]

Another swing is unacceptable. This time is Buck.

[wavedog]

We want more Harper -- yea!

[VATwinsFan]

Trade Schoop for Sogard?

[twinsbaby]

Our pitchers make Sogard like JoeMauer7. Ummm

Parts of this game thread could be converted into a TwinsDaily dating advice column.

Rough start for Big Mike, is it asking too much to get 5 1/3 out of Ryne Harper?

This was a joke.....I think

[twinsbaby]

Another 1-2-3 inning, so quiet offense this game.

[Mike Sixel]

Pro tip....

Never assume the circuit breaker is off.....

[Mike Sixel]

I would have hit Garver for Marwin when two were on....

uh...no.

Sogard has XBH's and RBI.

[Mill1634]

Twins pitchers have been unable to put Jays hitters away. They've done a lot of damage with two strikes. We have to sweep the Orioles.

[VATwinsFan]

I was just going to say how well Duffey has done in his first two games.

Never mind.

[Cap'n Piranha]

Why is Marwin mad at Garver, and why he won't just handle it himself?

Ha.

[twinsbaby]

Another HR, incredible. Our pitchers make this blue jays team like AL East Champ.

[operation mindcrime]

Nice to see Duffey build off Tuesday's outing!!!

[Mill1634]

EDDIE. THE. STICK.

That's why I want to fire Wes Johnson right now. He can't teach pitchers how to put away hitters.

winner.

[TouchEmAllGuy]

Eddie keeping this entertaining!

[operation mindcrime]

Yeah Eddie!!!

[bighat]

Rosie again! Man, that guy never quits and is always going 100% no matter what.

[VATwinsFan]

After Eddie's 2d HR the Twins are batting .223 this series, Jays are at .276.

So...some room to improve

while I vaccuum, dust, mop floors ... it's floor day at the Keller household.

It is at Ashbury Estates as well. Come on over!
