When Gibby nibbles, he's far less effective and what he has been most of his career.  When he has been aggressive he has been what we have seen last 1.5 years.  Again, why I am somewhat hesitant to sign him to a 3 or more year deal.

I agree with this.  Billy Hamilton should never ever be walked.  He's a career .245 hitter, and that's been declining the past 3 years.  Make him earn his way on base.
