Wow, now that's a lineup... with as many singles as Forsythe has hit, it makes sense to have him lead off. But Field as the 6th hitter?! And why is Cave still hitting 9th?

Put me on the bandwagon that would rather be seeing Wade (or Rooker) get these opportunities than Field.  Probably irrational and those guys just aren't ready.

I hope the heat and pressure of six(?) minor league seasons have turned Kohl into a diamond in the rough.

First there was the FRE.  Last night was the THE.  What will be next?

The Gabriel Moya Operation?

The Trevor May Incident?

The Tyler Ulysses Reginald Duffey Burger?

I can get behind the first two, but you're stretching on the last one (despite the creativity)

Kohl, being 23 at least he,s not 5 years out of college and 27-28 still got a chance for development, Good luck Kohl!!

Stewart with a nice first inning. Interesting he only threw one off-speed pitch in the inning, hopefully we'll see more off-spead stuff as the game goes on.

Kohl Stewart, ground ball machine? I'd take that in a heartbeat.

It would be great to see Stewart pitch well, but the 2019 rotation looks pretty full on bodies (not top-end talent, mind you), and I really don't see him as a long-term starter, but I'd love to see it happen. Romero, Gonsalves, and Littell are likely all ahead of him as prospects...

True, but I think he could give Gonsalves and especially Littell a run for their money.

Stewart needs to be able to control at least one of his off-speed pitches, so far almost all (of the very few) off-speed offerings haven't even been close.

The shift finally pays off.

Stewart looks like the type of pitcher that will benefit from it big time, if he pitches to it effectively. (i.e. don't go down and away to righties with two outs and a man on 3rd)
