GCTF Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 So do we get the good FRE or the bad FRE?Probably
wavedog Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Rodney usually has a way to make the game interesting - he is all about the entertainment.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 We get the "This is not a save situation FRE"
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 I’m not okay with pitching Rodney here. Tailor-made Magill situation.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Another fine example of Molitor's pitiful bullpen management. You have a big 4-game series against the Bosux coming up and you bring in your closer for how many pitches in a 6-run game?
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Why did we have to get swept by the Royals??? Because baseball.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 TWINS WIN!!!!! Wow. Are we, or aren't we dead?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Just tuned in to see the last two walks. C'mon Maximilian!I'll take full credit for winning this game by tuning in at just the right time. You're welcome.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 I’m not okay with pitching Rodney here. Tailor-made Magill situation. So Molitor burns up Rodney this evening so he may not be available tomorrow? I don't quite understand.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 YAY!!! The Twins have had some very nice double plays over the last three days.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 TWINS WIN!!!!! Wow. Are we, or aren't we dead?Yes

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 This team is all peaks and valleys.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 And the Twins sweep a team, on the road, that has given them fits for the better part of a decade. Another reason why baseball is such a great sport.
snotboogie Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 And it only took 4 hours and 20 minutes.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Magic Number Update: Division: 70Wild Card: 75
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Don't look now but the Twins actually have six regulars/semi-regulars with BAs > .270.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 4 for 6, double, HR, with 5 RBIs -- this must be the Garver we've been waiting for.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Magic Number Update: Division: 70Wild Card: 75 They're still 6 games below 500 so until they at least get to that point, I can't really take seriously looking at the standings. Of course, now this continues to muddle the trade deadline situation too. A 3-1 weekend in Boston would muddle it further but if they're winning, that can only be positive.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 He's not a catcher who can hit, like Mauer was, which is rare. But he's a hitter who can catch, and that's acceptable. It's acceptable if he either OPSes well over .800 or improves his catching by a considerable amount. He doesn't have to be a good catcher, he just needs to be better than he is now. The current Mitch Garver is still a bad player at a .775 OPS. I can barely watch the guy catch and I'm far from a catching guru, I can just see when someone is truly bad at the craft.
gocgo Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 6 runs, no HRs yet :-)Yeah...I totally cursed us. Bad call on my part. I actually thought Erv got hit pretty hard, but got bailed out by some good defense.
Kyle DeBarge Wichita Wind Surge - AA 2B/CF On Sunday, DeBarge went 3-for-3 with a walk and a double. It was his second multi-hit game in his past three games. Explore Kyle DeBarge News >
