Happ got roughed up by Tigers today. Lynn now has an ERA over 5. Both of their trade value decreased today.

I think we're going to need Romero back in the rotation. Maybe it's time we made Lynn the long reliever, just like we were thinking about a month or two ago.

Baez couldn't hit high fastball 2 swinging miss and then Lynn threw him a low curveball and he hit a double. What was Lynn thinking? Help me I can't hit high and tight! Sure I will serve you a low and slow.

From what I understand, from this point forward, if the Cubs try to score more runs, it's going to offend Molitor. Unless they hit solo HRs, of course.

God forbid if the Cubs lay down a bunt for a hit or try to steal a base. That's fighting words in unwritten rule land.

As bad as the Twins are, there are 2 teams within the Division and about 5 teams total that the Twins have no chance of catching. They are that BAD.

Twins are down 8-1 and Dick is talking about how many pitches Lester has thrown.

 

I'm going to hold back with the sarcasm because it has to be tough to be a Twins announcer with the team playing as badly as it is.

That was such a pitiful episode. A big league manager would have told the guys to suck it up and play the game.
