bighat Verified Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 I'm worried. The Twins have spent all day against a very hitable Montgomery and haven't much to show for it. A 2-0 lead ain't much against these Yanks, especially in this bandbox. Gibby's looking good but the offense really needs to tack on just a couple more.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Does Dozier pop out more than he doesn't, or is it just my imagination? Apparently he's trying to get a 100 degree launch angle down pat A 100 degree launch angle would be a foul pop, right? Or is that too much math? (I'll save y'all the keystrokes -- "Yes.")

FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Just watching gameday but Gibson's slider must be nasty today
ThejacKmp Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Good to see Robbie heating up. He's probably not the 2016 version but he's a useful bench player.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Who are you and what have you done with Kyle Gibson?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Who are you and what have you done with Kyle Gibson?I'm confident a doppelganger replaces Gibson every 3rd or 4th start and pitches very well every time out. Today must be the doppelganger's turn in the rotation.
Jerr Verified Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 you take that backAnd go sit on the bench, again!
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Hold down the fort for me, everyone...gotta leave to call balls and strikes.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Glad they got a hit. Gibson is done, or close. Now they won't be tempted to keep him on too long..
ThejacKmp Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Two righties and a guy you want batting from the left so not crazy to keep Gibby for one more.

Correct, it would actually be a pop behind the plate somewhere, as a 90 degree launch angle is a ball that remains horizontal with the plate.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 So what are the moves coming? Duffey for Hale, LaMarre for Buxton?

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Just checked in on the game and.... lol. Berrios, Lynn, Odorizzi, all fail horribly. KYLE GIBSON TO THE RESCUE
