The David Hale claiming is interesting, he's a starter but his AAA track record is pretty bad. Perhaps the Twins are planning on moving him to the bullpen and see if he can pitch competently there. If not, I imagine they'll DFA him and try to get him to AAA.

 

Or they're just claiming a Yankee so we can learn all their playbook or something like that... oh wait, wrong sport.

If they're going to mind meld with one of the Yankees, I would have preferred that Yankee to be someone in their everyday lineup.  Hale is better than nothing, I suppose.

Let's hope Sano gets that same 'safe' call on a check swing that Judge just got.  Ya know, just because you've had 2 calls overturned at first base, Mr. Umpire, doesn't mean you can continue making poor calls.
