I'm sorry guys, but there's just something about this team that I don't like... 
The at-bats are really predictable this year and they're usually not good

The starting pitching has really fallen off lately after that brilliant series against Baltimore, and the bullpen has really only two solid pieces in it right now (and one of them gave up a walk-off homerun yesterday)

One guy the Twins are really missing right now is Jorge Polanco... his at-bats look very professional and he doesn't go down easily such as Sano, Rosario, Morrison, and Castro

Wish we had some minor league talent to put pressure on these guys but we really don't

That's what happens when you nibble nibble nibble instead of going right at guys.  And you can't nibble against the Yankees because they are computer-programmed to not swing at anything outside the strike zone.  He gets 2 quick strikes on Stanton and then it's try and get him to chase and he failed.  With the exception of Berrios, this is a bad disease that is going through the pitching staff.  Hitters are too good nowadays to swing at bad balls.

Yep, bunting when you’re facing a lineup like this.

Bunting on your first at bat at Yankee Stadium.  If he wants to beat the shift how about aiming for the right field foul pole?

That Aaron Hicks had a real nice at bat even if the ump blew a call. He isn't hitting near .300 with an OBP over .400 by accident. 

 

I wonder how they acquired such a player.

I think JRmurphy is serving up pancakes at ihop last I checked

I don't fault the Twins for trading Hicks.  He was dreadful for us

I don't fault the twins for trading Hicks either. They dealt from a position of depth for a position of need.

Kepler hits a line drive double to right, just like he did in the 1st inning of the wild card game to give the Twins runners on second and third with one out, already leading 3-0.

ESPN is calling the game, from what I can tell. Uggh.

I WISH I could get the ESPN broadcast. The YES boys spent the last half inning rehasing gregorious’ homer in the WC game last year, rating it the “loudest new yankee stadium has ever been”

Morrison just doesn't seem like a good fit on this team for some reason. I've said it a dozen times already, but it reminds me of the Kendrys Morales experiment. The guy was great before he got to the Twins, and went on to succeed after he left the Twins. But in a Twins uniform, Morales was awful and it feels like Morrison is cut from the same jib.
