Things are starting to come together a bit more, right?

Would we be less confused if it went 1 - Lewis, 2 - Enlow, 3 - Rooker, 4 - Leach? At the end of the day the order doesn't matter if they all sign, but there's some real talent in there.

The issue at hand is that you cannot go in that order... That's why they had to do it that way. more talent overall that way.  If they are pretty confident that each can be average to above ML players, this will be a good draft...  We will see how it plays out though.

I don't have the interest or ability to try and guess how this is all going to turn out for young Mr. Enlow, but throwing that curveball to high school hitters seems absolutely meanspirited. Good for him.

I'm ready for a college pitcher now. Peter Soloman or Jake Thompson.

Maybe Bryce Montes De Oca if we can handle hearing about Alex Meyers comps.

I want Mike Baumann. I saw him throw privately last week and was really impressed.

[Enlow]  went 5-3 for St. Amant this season with 101 strikeouts and 1.00 ERA in 69.2 innings. He helped lead the USA 18U National team to a gold medal when he threw 13 innings and allowed five hits, one unearned run and had nine strikeouts.

Enlow's velocity dropped a tick earlier in the spring but climbed back up when some teams were scouting him heavier in April and May.

Know we want HS P's with potential, but any fireball college relievers that anyone knows of? Given some of the guys in the past couple years have flamed out or gotten injured (Cederoth, Burdi, etc)

He had a good scouting report on MLB.com but it looks like he went to Baltimore

I love this pick. Seems to have the high end projectibility with some growth. Adding a few ticks on the fastball and refining a changeup. Curveball is there already. Watched a few videos and it looks nasty. Fastball looks to have some good movement especially if he can add some velocity to it. With this pick I'm understanding the strategy a bit. I like this pick and I think a few things happened yesterday that turned the course towards Lewis, Rooker and Leach. I wish there would have been another pitcher in that first group of 3 but I'm good with all the picks so far.

I'm a little late to the game but this was who I was hoping for and made a ton of sense here, they must have had info that Leach would be gone and nabbed him. It's reported that we saved money with Lewis and Rooker should also go well below slot as a senior.I watched a bunch of video of Enlow and Carlson today and I think I like Enlow better, Carlson's mechanics are too much for me, I don't know how he stays healthy pitching that way. Hooray, peace is restored!
