Warm thanks to Danny Valencia, chipping in to help the opposition!

The Twins bullpen is underated.  They limit the bad outings to a handful of games where everyone's bad.  I also think people are missing the real story on Giminez pitching 4 times it's not that the bullpen is awful it's that they are less willing to waste a pitcher in that situation.

That Tommy John surgery sure worked on Sano

Agreed, I think we know for certain now that he was right to go with that over the Elton John surgery.

Like Bert said, "Why do you think he's been with 7 teams?"

[LaBombo]

I'm OK with Duffey in this type of role.

It's too far past bedtime for me to go chasing down his leverage score, but it would be useful to know if it reflects the fact that he's been the Twins' best reliever so far in 2017.

A lot of guys can't adjust to the over-sized glasses after that procedure.

Talent.

It's kind of like saying the Beatles are overated.  It can be true without meaning much.  We don't have any automatic bullpen options but I'm confident in the majority of the bullpen when rested.

Miguel Sano. Proving why right field was an asinine move since 2017.

But did Bert acknowledge that he was with 5 teams after his first stint with the Twins?

My heart says yes,

My head says no.

Jesus, Lord...Motter...go back to guitar center, will ya?

Is there a barber shortage in Seattle?

With the number of base runners Kintzler allows, I feel he's some awful glasses and a couple of pitches removed from being Ron Davis.

[LaBombo]

It's the Twins, so there has to be at least a little drama with a one run lead in the ninth.

My heart said no, and my head called it Captain Obvious, which I thought was a little uncalled for, but understandable in light of their struggles.

Care to change your answer?

[glunn]

That was a terrible ending.

[jimbo92107]

Relatively painless, actually. Like pulling off a band aid, and then...you're dead!

[Danchat]

Well... there's the game. Ugh. Blown saves happen, but Kintzler isn't a guy you can trust with a one run lead in the 9th.

no, he has very much been Ron Davis the whole time

[drock2190]

Well maybe if he threw more than ONE pitch!

Time to find a new closer...Duffey, perhaps??  He was fool's gold in April and early May but he's shown his true colors the last couple of outings.  Just can't get a 1-2-3 inning.  Freakin pathetic to yak away this game.

Famous last words: I look to my girlfriend after the single and say "Kintzler is the kind of guy who would completely unravel after a two out single."
