--for those on the game thread last night, we talked about the hell that would be getting woken up by a Hawk Clock.  Well...the White Sox are giving away a Hawk Clock as a promotion.  Life imitates art.

 

--that Molitor is a baseball savant.

 

--Holland should have had a call third strike on Sano--it was close but it caught the edge of the zone.  I wish we had Bert to tell us how the mark of a good pitcher is how you respond, or some such nonsense.

 

--the Twins have hit a jon ron in 12 straight games for the first time since 2002.
