[start of Mauer homerism]  I know Mauer is not playing like people would like and he had a horrible April and has deserved a lot of the criticism he has received, but it does seem like he is starting to get a little offensive life the last few weeks.  Still not where people would like him to be, but his bat seems a bit more productive and not as much of a black hole.
