funny story about Rocky and Bullwinkle: If the script ran a bit long, the actors talked faster so the show would fit in the allotted time. (don't know if this is true, but, it's good anecdote.)

No sympathy for a company that demands to be in 90% of all cable homes in order to receive their programming and then pulls 7 dollars a month out of the wallet of each of the 90% regardless if they watch the channel or not. The next closest cable channel gets around $1.50 from each subscriber monthly. 

 

Want to know why you cable bill is high. ESPN is a good place to start looking for that answer.

I used to have ESPN on so much that the watermark burned into my TV screen.  I never missed SportsCenter when it was just a half hour highlight reel.  Now, if it weren't for college basketball games, I wouldn't even know where it was on the dial.  I never watch other than games and I rarely even visit their website anymore.  They had so many writers covering the same thing that they'd contradict each other and erode any credibility the network or either of the contradicting writers had.
