Early one winter a trade was brewin

wonderin if if it’d change anything

If Dozier was dressed in blue or red

 

His home runs balls they said their lives together

Sure was gonna be rough

They never did like

his lazy flies and K's

Twins’ bank book wasn't big enough

 

And I was readin the side of Twins Daily

Rumors fallin' on my shoes

Heading out for the west coast

or Midwest Lord knows he’s paid some dues

There's "Never been any reason" to not trade Dozier as Head East used to say...

 

I'm "Dazed and Confused" from all of these false/correct reports out there concerning Dozier.

 

But again, I'm just enjoying the "Sound of Silence" before the inevitable trade...
