I hate watching one episode at a time so the draw to subscribe is pretty weak for me. All I now know is that I *will* watch it, just in a month or two.

I am somewhat bitter about Picard being on CBS Access.  I have three streaming services already (Hulu, Amazon, Netflix), and don't want to add another one, but would love to watch Picard and I heard the second season of Star Trek Discovery was pretty good.  Maybe if I dropped Hulu or Netflix, but I was already thinking of doing that if I decided to get Disney Plus.  Sadly, I don't think the trend of each studio or network wanting their content on their own streaming service is going to end.

 

Anyone watch The Good Place?  I did not think the last couple of seasons were as good as the first two, but I thought they really nailed the series finale.  It was one of the best wrapping up of a series I have seen (although I could see people either loving or hating it).

I thought the third season was a pure mess. The fourth season was better, though not to the point of the first two, as you said. The finale was gold. Then watching the interviews afterward with cast members got all the feels going.

Watching Killer in Plain Sight on Hulu right now (tonight)... solid crime show.

 

Watched seasons 1, 2, 5 and 6 of Who's the Boss on Roku Channel.

Watching The Hunters on Prime. I enjoy it, but it’s a difficult watch, switching between 70’s stylish “Shaft” meets spy type and the pain of being a Holocaust survivor.

I am watching a couple of things on Netflix that might be targeted more for a much younger demographic ...

 

Derry Girls  -- I cannot decide if it is really clever/good or really stupid/bad (I think it might be really good), but it does make me laugh (as comedies of 1990's Northern Ireland strife tend to do).

 

Locke and Key -- about half way through and it is so far has some suspenseful and creepy moments.  Hopefully, it will have a stronger home-stretch than Hill House.

 

A show probably not aimed at the tween set -- I am resuming my rewatch of the first season of Cheers.  I suspect it will be pulled at some point when  NBC's streaming service is in full pay mode.   I loved Coach when I watched as a kid, and still do, but in retrospect, Woody might have been a funnier character (Harrelson did develop into a pretty good actor and might have been able to do more with the one-note of the character).

Provided the creators are smart enough to stick to the source material, you're in for several seasons of really good storytelling in Locke & Key.

I’ve seen some trailers for this and it intrigues me, although creepy stuff really scares me, but in a good way.

I'm 5 episodes into Counterpart on Prime (I believe also Stars). I really enjoy it so far, JK Simmons is awesome!

I'm in the midst of watching Shameless. 10th season just aired on Showtime, but the whole series is available on Netflix. Pretty funny, a little raunchy, very entertaining!

Just finished season 6.  Very enjoyable.  It's hard to tell which characters are redeeming and which ones are disasters, or neither, or both.  I am hoping Joan Cusack make a reappearance.

I stumbled across Dispatches From Elsewhere. Only seen episodes 3 and 1 (out of order) so far. The show has a certain style to it. Not sure where it's going but I may continue to find out.

Not in those two shows. Ha! On Peacock, I ended up watching Yellowstone's three seasons in about 4 days, and now I'm re-watching Paranormal Witness on there.

I think we had a thread about good TV shows but I can't find it. We have HBO Max and just finished The Outsider and just started Lovecraft Country. Both are really good.
