Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 just might need to start re-thinking who AL ROY is going to be :-) Yeah... I'm thinking Berrios or Polanco. jimmer 1
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Congrats to Roy Kepler for a great game so far, more chances to come for another too.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Buxton would have had that. gil4 and ashbury 2

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 That's it Dozier... Don't let the those OF's catch the ball... Take Charge!!!! dgwills, DiscGolfer and SwainZag 3
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Which of today's trades did the Twins pick up this Berrios guy? Riverbrian and ashbury 2
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Wow, what a play by Dozier to end the inning. It's nice to see how good professional athletes can be.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Definitely not the Keanu movie I was expecting. "You keep using the word Keanu. I do not think it means what you think it means." wsnydes and Riverbrian 2
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Kepler doing what is expected of him: backing up Rosario.I had the same thought, and dismissed it as just a routine thing for a big leaguer to do - go toward the ball, duh. But, how nice is that, if we can take it for granted?
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Which of today's trades did the Twins pick up this Berrios guy?Nolasco, to all intents and purposes. D. Hocking, DiscGolfer, Riverbrian and 2 others 5
Woody Wants Wins Provisional Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 And last year at trade deadline half of the bloggers thought the Twins could throw Kepler in to get a quality pitcher. I mean we had Hicks, Hunter, Arcia, Schafer, Robinson, and Walker and Buxton coming. No need for the German who might be able to hit.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Royals game alert: Jennings got a double in the 8th. Hope it doesn't jinx the no-no to say that. Riverbrian 1

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 My kids' bedtimes hadn't been too much of a problem because, well the Twins weren't giving my anything good to watch anyway. I'm going to have to revisit 6:00 bedtimes though if these young guys keep doing this. dgwills 1
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I was going to say, D-San now appears to be in his 2.0 version, too. He no longer looks super anxious, like he's waiting to be cut or sent down any minute. He's also developed some torque with his body. He turns his belt buckle to lead the swing, so he's added much better pop when he connects. Fun to watch him rip liners to the outfield.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 In town. Listened a bit on the way from having dinner with my mom..... Not ten seconds after saying the Rosario play was an error, Gladden says.....a lot of good defense out there tonight.... wsnydes 1

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I'm guessing Kepler will just try to stroke a single this time up. He's not a hot dog.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Wow, they brought in Miller ??
dgwills Provisional Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I'm calling it. Kepler ....…walks his next at bat. .
