I'll take Correa and maybe Bogaerts.  Perhaps Crawford.

Maybe Crawford, but I meant defensively. Simmons and Alcides Escobar would be in that conversation.

I see they have assigned Berrios jersey # 17. I like it that they didn't give him, say, 68 or something. A low number says to me that they're serious about having him around for a good long time.

See, if you'd have done it right and just said yes instead of supplying unnecessary verbiage, you might have beaten me to the punch instead of being the also-ran.

Concur.

Some of you might already know this, some not...but I did a little time in prison as a young man.

I remember the night of the big prison break. Nobody told me about it. I watched this midget climbing down the other side of the fence, sneering at me as I sat there still inside, wishing I was on the run too, and thinking to myself "well, that's a little condescending."

Explains your soap on a rope obsession.

I looked it up. All these Twins/Senators players have worn #17. Let's hope Berrios is the last one!

See Polanco just entered the field. Is he on active roster today?

"Polanco and Thornton Melon are on our updated roster,    honest.    I'll send ya a copy after the game".

Not sure about Escobar, but Ahmed, Seager, Hechavarria, Jose Iglesis.  Its truly the age of quality shortstops.

From what I've read, and who knows if this has changed, I don't think there is consensus on what's better or worse ... American Indians, Native Americans, First Nation peoples, Indigenous Peoples? I think the preference is to use the actual tribe name. But to just use 'Natives?' I don't know ... just strikes me as ... not quite right, either. But I don't know. Can o' worms discussion perhaps so let's not get into it in a game thread. But if anyone out there is of a specific tribe ... is there a preferred usage? Just curious.

As someone who has Cherokee Indian ancestors, I prefer "American" myself. This whole hyphenated-American crap is creating nothing but opportunities for graft for grievance mongers.

BTW...low around 39??  Fahrenheit??!?

Alright Mr. Arizona

Take off those Rainbow Shades.

It's a different temp in these parts.

I forgot Pascual wore 17. Even though almost everyone else on the list is fairly forgettable Berrios is in good company with Camilo.

Let's take this moment to celebrate... The lineup, as of right now, doesn't have a single batter below .200!

We should trade for all of those guys, just to make it interesting for DickBert to announce their names.

You just better hope I use my powers for good, instead of waiting till this time tomorrow and moving the clock BACK 24 hours.

mwaa-haaaa-haaaaa-hhhaaaaaaaaa

When I use my powers of time manipulation.

Instead of back or ahead... I move time sideways. That way nobody really notices and I don't get hit with a lot of time oriented requests from strangers.

I wouldn't mind. But I don't think Walker (K) is the answer. Palka, I love the idea of seeing him up the bigs!

Agree, but Walker can't be any worse at contact than Eddie. Only problem with Palka is he isn't on the 40 man, although I believe they do have a free spot on the 40.

Well that seems a little off.

You mean Adam Brett Strikeouter?

(I can't be the first one to think of that one, could I?)
