but why is Escobar batting 7th? It's almost as if Molitor's doing this intentionally so that the Twins don't score any runs. Ugh....

I kind of feel as if their first win is going to be very anti-climactic. At 0-4, it would have been "HOORAH!" Now at 0-9, it's going to feel more along the lines of "Oh. Now we're 1-9. Cool."

We better win tonight. I'm running out of things to kick over. My house is starting to look a bit silly and the dog and cat leave the room every time they hear Dick and Bert's voices! I'm also concerned about the amount of beer I am drinking and the abundant fowl language that seems to flow from the front of my cranium lately! I need a Twins win, a church and an AA meeting!!! Also, anyone know of a good home repair guy? Never mind, I will just look on Craig's List.

I know what you mean, I too had fowl language problems. I went to the doc, and he told me it was just a chicken. He suggested I just choke it, and the problem would go away!

UPDATE; 8 KS, 0 BBs, 3 Hs, 0Rs in 6 innings. 57 strikes, 30 balls. Probably done for the day this early in the season. But man, talk about putting yourself back on the map.
