Not losing! Baby steps.

[USAFChief]

ssshhhhhh...perfecto in progress

[GCTF]

Crusher was my fave! Even though his signature move was apparently a headlock.

Bolo punch. It was devastating. And then off to the saloon to dance a polka with the girlies.

[David HK]

Whew...I had to check CNN to see if HK was still there.  It appears you were making funny.

I'm on the Kowloon side.  The zombies are contained on the Island.

You betcha!

Well Rodon has only faced one batter.

[ashbury]

Who's she?

Edit:  shoulda went with "where's she appearing?"

If she appears with plagues of locusts or zombies it might be an improvement to her fortunes.

[Cap'n Piranha]

Well Rodon has only faced one batter.

Yay! You guys jinxed him!  Now someone talk about his no-hitter!

[David HK]

OMG- the Rasslin' stuff is taking me back-- way back---

The Crusher Bolo, the Claw--  Dick the Bruiser, Luscious Lars Anderson, Bockwinkle, Gagne... You could hear all the TVs in the neighborhood tuned in on a summer Saturday night, and we kids would practice the moves in the yard- ouch.

Quote from Wiki:  According to AWA wrestler (and son of AWA promoter Verne Gagne) Greg Gagne , All-Star Wrestling was the second highest rated program in St. Paul, Minnesota (behind only 60 Minutes). All-Star Wrestling at its peak, earned a 25 rating and a 64 share.

Dem was da days.

[D. Hocking]

I was mixing up Rodon with Rodan  -- I was kind of pumped to Rodan pitch.http://www.student.nvcc.edu/home/jcepeda/final/Images/Rodan.png

[Aggies7]

Plouffe is a black hole at the cleanup spot. Although I'm not sure who else we could put there?

Also, was the gate giveaway a green shirt and pants set? Oof, what a crowd!

[Cap'n Piranha]

Phil Hughes is on pace to shatter his own k/bb record, by putting up an Infinity k/bb ratio this year.

FWN!

[David HK]

What's with this baseball talk when there's rasslin' going on?

[USAFChief]

Target Field is on the Kowloon side.  Rodan only pitches on the island.

[Cap'n Piranha]

Cory Provus just jinxed Phil.

DAMMIT CORY!

[Vanimal46]

A couple of snapper mow em down innings for Hughes. I like it!

I forget- does he get the free lawn edger with 3 of those?

Common mistake.   Rodon is the Cuban-American lefty,  Rodan is the righty from the Nippon Ham Fighters...

[David HK]

I keep hoping to see Rosario start to choke up a little with no strikes.

[Cap'n Piranha]

Apparently Molitor thinks a strikeout has nothing to do with mechanics, and instead is mental.  Why haven't we hired a staff psychologist to just hypnotize our batters into never missing the pitch?

I think he should! How long ago was it where they did have Snapper mow em down inning promotions?

Best. Uni's. Ever.

[Mill1634]

Are these the uni's we are supposed to wear on Friday home games?

[David HK]

Did I just hear Dick say Escobar has 20% of the Twins' hits all by himself?

[Vanimal46]

70 degrees in Minnesota and there's this many empty seats? I know it's Wednesday night but really?

Its what you get with an 0-7 team

I just remember the 1988 home opener- after that incredible year, and WS win, they had the CEO of Snapper throwing out the first ball.  What a thrill.

[Vanimal46]

Well hello there, Audra.

[Aggies7]

At this point, I would have everyone bunt with two strikes. It couldn't possible be worse. Even Escobar k's.

More Audra, less twins. Wow strikes out the side.

Nobody here old enough to answer that question.
