LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 OUch, me too. Ruined the Xmas school break Sr. year at UND. Of course, I don't think the temp ever got above 0 for those couple of weeks, so it was pretty much a wash. Lotta baking soda baths. Hm. I should have one of those again, just for old time's sake. Sooooooothing...... I've got that beat. http://i.ytimg.com/vi/hsKZqRm8mgg/maxresdefault.jpg Early Saturday morning, FIRST day of summer vacation after third grade, woke up to watch cartoons. Bothered by a mosquito bite but didn't think much of it. Went upstairs for breakfast. Both parents made 'The Face', the one where you know something is wrong. Got to start my summer sitting inside with chicken pox and wanting to peel my skin off.. Bark's Lounge, Riverbrian, David HK and 1 other 4

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 My Kids got it... I called Mom and asked her if I had ever had Chicken Pox and she said that I did when I was real young. So... I didn't worry about it at all. I helped care for them. I was absolutely fearless. Mom Called back a couple of days later. You know... It was the Mumps... You had the Mumps... Your Sister Kari had the Chicken Pox. Sure Enough... The Spots started showing up. I was like 32 and then Mom started telling me that Chicken Pox are much worse when you get them as an adult. Yup. Lucky you had your kids already. Getting chicken pox as an adult can cause sterility.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Yup. Lucky you had your kids already. Getting chicken pox as an adult can cause sterility.Actually that's mumps. Riverbrian 1
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 My guess would've been - he is a vulnerable adult, he is a multi-millionaire, he talks to strangers too much, he is grieving his wife's death, and his son became a meth addict and he is probably the perpetrator. The magic of Bark. It starts out as a seemingly harmless post about Forrest Gump, and turns into a lost episode of 'Breaking Bad'... Riverbrian and Bark's Lounge 2

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 This just in: Escobar is just 7 points away from being the team leader in batting average - and if you don't count Sano, he's tied for the lead with Rosario. (!!!!) Riverbrian and LaBombo 2
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Ever since he got his SS job back, Eduardo Escobar has been playing very happy baseball. Like a man who finally gets justice, he looks liberated and joyful with every play and every at-bat. I say leave this guy at short as long as he's wearing that big 'EE' t-shirt under his uniform. spinowner, ScrapTheNickname and Hosken Bombo Disco 3
