I had the Chicken Pox as an adult. 

 

It pretty much knocked me flat. 

OUch, me too.  Ruined the Xmas school break Sr. year at UND.  Of course, I don't think the temp ever got above 0 for those couple of weeks, so it was pretty much a wash.  Lotta baking soda baths.

My Kids got it... I called Mom and asked her if I had ever had Chicken Pox and she said that I did when I was real young. 

 

So... I didn't worry about it at all. I helped care for them. I was absolutely fearless. 

 

Mom Called back a couple of days later. You know... It was the Mumps... You had the Mumps... Your Sister Kari had the Chicken Pox. 

 

Sure Enough... The Spots started showing up. I was like 32 and then Mom started telling me that Chicken Pox are much worse when you get them as an adult.
