I am hoping for a Twins-Dodgers World Series -- 50th anniversary of 1965.

I would prefer a Twins vs Cubs World Series, with the Twins winning in 5 games off a walk off HR from Sano off Fernando Rodney in the bottom of the 12th inning.

 

Chicago burns to the ground and nothing is lost :)

Nice game. A little surprised that Tommy Milone held the Royals down. Good show.

He has been the Twins best SP the last few months IMO, other than a couple bad starts he has looked very very solid.

Gibson

 

Could patch work their way to a decent playoff rotation if luck swings the right way.

I hate the Dodgers almost as much as I hate the Yankees. Even for nostalgia I wouldn't want the Dodgers anywhere near the WS.

I wouldn't want them facing the Twins, not for nostalgic reasons, but for "I don't want to face Grienke and Kershaw for up to 5 games out of 7"

If Game 5 is on the road, I know what kind of car I'll try to rent for the drive to Wrigley...

Honestly, Wrigley is a dump. There is nothing charming or good about that "stadium"

 

Whether it's the disgusting bathrooms, terrible beer (old style is not a good beer), or the seats that are way too narrow for the average Cubs fan (280lbs+) it has got to go.
