Twins are hitting against Cy Young, just like most nights lately. I just want to feel like they have a chance to win, most nights, but that feeling is sliding away from me.

What else is there? Escobar? With the disappointments/failures of Santana, Vargas, and Arcia, there aren't many left-handed bats for the Twins.

 

Oswaldo Arcia and Jorge Polanco are the obvious choices to be on this roster now. One could even make the case for Kepler (if they are really going to be this dense about Arcia)

I'm watching the Jay's broadcast. It seems nearly all television commentators are fairly boring. It seems that is a qualification.

 

Doc Ellis or Spaceman Lee paired with Joe Rogan, make it happen!

Biggest complaint with Phil Hughes this year, the F*&K is with all the 2 seamers.  He was good up in the zone getting flyouts and strikeouts why the sudden need for ground balls.

St Paul transplant from Toronto (don't ask) here. Would just like to point out that Toronto is actually south of Minne. I keep reading this stuff about Toronto being "up there" and it's annoying me.

Sorry I worded that wrong I guess. I'm originally from St Paul and now in Toronto. It's one hell of a city so the pot shots are kind of silly. Minne is tiny in comparison to Toronto. I'm forever a Twins fan however.

I'm really starting to get tired of watching Rosraio striking out so much, especially the caught looking variety.  He shouldn't really be batting in any top of the order or middle sequences either at least not this year.

As much as I don't like Suzuki's bat he would not have taken a called third strike in that spot. 

Rosario has now walked 10 times in 71 games. Not ... so ... good.
