Quiz...if you are up 1-0 in the 7th, one out, base loaded, and a medium-deep ball is hot down the LF line, drifts foul....do you catch it?

 

Yes... Take the out whenever you can. You just give the guy at the plate another chance to not make an out and make it all much much worse.

 

It's best to not load the bases in the first place.

I tend towards not blaming umps too much, but the close calls seem to be going the Yankees way tonight, for sure.
