    Some posted earlier that mlb called the umpires and told them they didn't want Twins to advance ... I'm starting to believe in that theory ... A stike is a ball and a ball is a strike , that's not they way the game is played ... He's making up his own rules as the game is played , this ump is very inconsistent ...

    As much as i hate to say it i have to be realistic that Toronto is the better team and yes they play in a east division that is very solid , if they played in either central or west division they would have won 100 games ... But anything can happen and we do have home field advantage ... Wave those hankies twin fans ...

    Yes it was a meaningless game yesterday but it was another winnable game Rocco couldn't manage to win ... I would personally like to get rid of the Manfred man ghost runner permanently ... And when a manager brings in a position player and not a pitcher he should get the loss and a fine from mlb for tanking ... Well each league has a team with 307 homeruns now , it's a tie but think about it Atlanta did it without the juiced ball supposedly ...

    A great Santana win ,,, Different plan and manager , the front office and Rocco halve to deviate from the normal season schedule of managing and playing games ... 2019 and 2020 playoffs they managed and played the same they did during the season , it just doesn't work and I was not impressed ... I would like to see more situational hitting to manufacture runs against good pitchers in the playoffs ... Baseball season is 162 games and i can understand the philosophy of maintaining the status quo , but in the playoffs , change is necessary ... Win or go home ...

    Go with best performer's that have contributed since Allstar or when the season officially started ... Correa and hopefully Lewis too if healthy , Lewis bat at DH is needed if he can't play infield ... It's the front office and Rocco and medical staff contructing the lineup , can't make everyone happy I'm sure .... 1 game left today to determine playoff roster ... Let's get the sweep and get another double digit win ...

    Yep , I should have said in addition to our bullpen of the usual relievers Jax, theilbar , Pagan ... We aren't looking to bad , they just have to want it and bring , paddack the first inning he pitched he was hungry bulldog happy to be on the mound .... It's time for all of them to give it their all with a different mentality in the playoffs ... Win and move on , lose and go home ...

    I could name a few from the league but they are retired , One that comes to mind who has faired well with playoff experience is Dave Robertson , traded from Mets to marlins this year ... Chapman isn't what he used to be and no one else is coming to mind , last year's clase from Cleveland , this year's clase not so much ... Duran has done the job but has got you on the edge of your seat with his higher walk rate ... I'll stick with what we have and I too am getting encouraged by our bullpen mix of varland , maeda , Stewart , funderburk , maybe paddack ...

    Good come from behind win ... Twins batters weren't very patient tonight , only 1 walk . They were making contact though only striking out 6 times . Contact was made, 13 hits ... Kepler has 4 hits and has really helped the cause in the second half , did anyone notice Polanco's swing seemed tight or stiff all night ... Bullpen held and Twins score late to make Keuchel the winner , twins pitchers strike out 17 A's , maybe the A's will break our strikeout record next year ... Let's get the sweep in today's matinee and then go pound on the rockies for 3 more wins ...

    Paddack pitching two innings isn't really questionable because they want a long reliever , by going 1 inning last night he would have been able to pitch Thursday and then again in colorado , but he'll get another chance to go 2 or more innings in colorado ... I don't think funderburk throws in the upper nineties ... It was good to see both paddack and Stewart pitching again and hopefully they can stabilize the bullpen ... Go Twins

    The nasty boys were nasty , very nasty ... Never can duplicate those 3 , royals had 3 nasty arms for a few years during there short run of playoffs and world series ...

    Great double digit game win tonight ... Early bats awakened and the grand slam was possibly the furthest I have seen a ball hit to right center, wallner tattoo it ... Ober was Ober and was in command , paddack dazzled his first inning and wanted more but wasn't quite as successful , but well take it , probably see him pitch once more in colorado , he threw 40 plus pitches ... Stewart is back and throwing gas , might see him again on Thursday as he threw 16 pitches... Jax was his normal self throwing 17 pitches ... Pitching only walked 1 and struck out 15 A's ... Kiriloff continues to hit homeruns to the opposite field , 8 of his 11 homers have been to left field , amazing ... Vasquez hits another opposite field bases clearing double , he saw 3 pitches and all 3 were in the same location, I kept saying , hit it to right field and he did ... We got more runs than hits but the batters were very patient and walked 9 times , more walks than strikeouts ... Good effort even if it was the A's , let's get more ...

    I hope your dead wrong too ... Let's just say the Twins have a 50 /50 chance of advancing ... Or Rocco cannot continue to manage the same way he manages during the season ... It's win or go home , a manager needs to make things happen for his players , play small ball if necessary , let's see how he does , 2019 and 2020 I was not impressed ...

    Lopez will start game 1 and gray will follow , I like Gray as the competitor he is to start game 2 ... It hasn't been the best ride for us Twins fans especially in the first half , the starters have definitely been solid and kept us in the games all year ( pitching wins , exce .... Lineup Getting better in the second half and playing good ball before the playoffs is a good recipe for success ...

    Good game today , the Twins put the wood to the ball and only struck out 4 times in the game ... Kepler was 0-9 coming into today's game and had 2 hits , Jeffers hit as well , nice to see him finally showing he can hit consistently , polanco the veteran did his part ... The 3 mentioned players above had something in common today , they each hit homeruns ... ryan gave us 6 good innings and struck out 10 while the bullpen got 6 more strikeouts for a total of 16 , good game by the staff , would have been nice to see paddack get into the game but rain interupted his chance after he warmed up to come into the game but the rains came and he was cooled down by the time the rains quit , hopefully against Oakland we can see paddack get his 2023 season going ... Would be nice for the team to win the last 6 games against Oakland and rockies ...

    Our position players rehabbing should just rehab all winter and be healthy for the spring , I just don't think they have proven they can help the major league club ... The club has done better without them ... Now Stewart could be of help on the pitching side ... Sad that the season has come to an end in the minor leagues , but all good things must come to an end ...

    I didnt read the article ... Why didn't I read the article , because they haven't accomplished anything yet , last year at the deadline the Twins were not contenders and they traded away prospects , this year they were only contenders in a weak division with a good starting rotation and they made no deadline trades ... Nothing they do ever makes any sense ... I will never cut this front office any slack , signing Gallo will go down as the worst player ever to wear a twins uniform ... They are not the smartest people in the room , what takes them so long to promote the prospects when they rave about how talented our farm system is , we added prospects and our season finally turned around enough to win the weak division ... They deserve no praise , the players in the second half of the season deserve the praise ...
