    I've never doubted Polanco when healthy is a productive hitter ... Google Tovar baseball card and polano's and compare them , I discussed this with Tony O and he also confirmed they look alot alike ...

    Pablo has had alot of good games early in the season and in the second half , alittle bumpy ride in the middle of the season ... Pablo is a good pitcher , but will he be the best in Twins history if he exceeds the strikeout totals , I wouldn't claim him to be , as the Twins have had some good pitchers and some of those pitchers could hit , to me that was awesome , kitty was always fun to watch hit in games pitched , he was also a pinch hitter .... Who was or is the best Twins pitcher in history , Cy young winners , perry , viola ( sweet music ) or Santana , hall of famers , blyleven or kaat and don't forget the history dates back to the senators ,,, BIG TRAIN , Walter Johnson ... Strikeouts don't make a pitcher the best in baseball , blyleven struck out more than 3700 in his career , to me that longevity makes him a good pitcher ,, why didn't bert win any Cy Youngs with the Twins, probably because the Twins were always a competitive team of five hundred , bert had alot of season with Twins where he had a 500 record pitching but his other numbers reflected he he should have won Cy Youngs , but wins and losses mattered alot until a few years ago ...

    Line-up ... Definitely need the veterans Polanco and kepler to lead this team ... Rookies Lewis, Julien and wallner need to keep it going also ... Correa has shown flashes but not consistently , let's hope he can help lead too ... Kiriloff rehabbing in st Paul and seems to be close to being added back to 28 man roster ... Solano and MAT have provided good production ... Starting Pitching ... Where would we be if we didn't have this year's rotation , they have mostly kept us in every game , it's been a solid season for the startèrs ... Bullpen ... Nothing to add , the bullpen hasn't been consistent , just keep crossing our fingers they can come through and protect a lead ... We need it all and we need them all right now to get hungry for a division crown and the playoff series ... It's going to be a close and suspenseful race between Cleveland or Twins to win this division ...

    I'm going to predict that this might be royce Lewis's Twins team pretty soon if the other 2 veterans can't contribute ... Lewis is a ballplayer ....

    I was out on lake tonight , did glance at score and we were down by 2 runs , I thought to myself that this wasn't going to be our night .... Didn't watch any of the game , just checked the box score and was pleasantly surprised that we came back from a 4-0 deficit and went extra innings to win it .... The Twins are showing that there is some fight in them after all ... What took so long ???

    Polanco is leading the veterans , he looks good with the bat since returning from IL list ... Ryan had a nice game with control , missed a few locations but got away with them ... Two opposite field homeruns in 1 inning is unusual but nice to see some hits going to the opposite field ... Bullpen did a nice job and could be used again today if need be ( all 3 pitchers only threw a handful of pitches ) , let's hope it's a blow out and we can give them rest today ....

    Records are made to be broken .... I sure like our record because we beat the Yankees by 1 homer ... If Atlanta beats our record the Twins will still have the record to claim for the most home runs by an American league team ....

    I agree with the rules .... This is America , quit wanting to change the rules , they are and have been established for years , now this year it effects the Twins and everyone thinks it's unfair ... It is what it is ... Cleveland made the right play because Twins lost two games to Cleveland ....

    Just popped in on thread to say scherzer again was a master , I guess I wasn't paying attention to his pitch count , because I thought he would go another inning ... We got a lefthander and the Twins managed 3 runs with 2 homers going opposite field ... Cleveland won their game so our bullpen better not choke ...

    Stevenson gets the nod , good for him though he is another left handed bat , he brings strong numbers from AAA and also experience in mlb , can he spark the running game hopefully

    I really don't care if you believe or not ... I made a statement , the Twins collapsed last September and it's possible they do it again this September , it's going to the wire and someone is going to win by a nose .... Twins have to many flaws except for starting pitching but they could wear down from the workload ...

    For two years in a row September will not be kind to the Twins and I can see Cleveland over taking us and winning the division and I'm okay with this .... The only way the Twins will win is to show some moxie an win ten or more games in arow ... This division title may go all the way to the end , Cleveland got better and Twins remain the same , a flawed team ... It does add some excitement if Cleveland and Twins are in a pennant race ... FO is responsible once again for constructing this team , yes they went and traded for good starters , other than Ober , they really haven't had a pipeline of pitchers ( they finally did something right with the starters but totally ignored the bullpen and a quality right-handed outfielder bat ) twice they failed , off-season and deadline ... Do not cut this front office any slack , it's blunder after blunder ... I am so frustrated , thank you for letting me vent ....

    Yep , it wasn't meant to be , hitting a grand slam 3 games in a row ... Lightning doesn't always strike in the same place ... Lewis is a player to watch , any baseball personal will tell you he could be something special .... We need more players like Lewis ...

    Lewis ... The opportunity presented it's self in the first inning For his third consecutive grand slam in 3 games , wasn't meant to be ... Kepler ... Can you believe what a turn around Kepler is having at the plate , his average keeps on climbing , he. Got 2 hits again tonight in the loss , almost 3 years of an almost sure out and now someone that seems like he is having fun once again playing baseball .... Correa .... 27 grounding into double plays , i don't think he even has that many doubles as in hits ... Dfa please ... K-king ( yes we know how much the FO and Rocco love the guy , come on )

    It really doesn't matter at this point but I'd take Texas or Houston over Seattle if the playoffs started tomorrow ,,, Seattle has been awesome of late , Texas has hit a skid lately and Houston has just been steady all season ... I talked to a friend in Houston and he doesnt think Houston is even going to make the playoffs ...
