We need to strengthen the lineup and pitching … yes with little pain a bunch of these players can be traded , non tendered and DFA’d … non tendering arbitration players with higher salaries projected I can see to being realistic if they are injury prone or just didn’t contribute in a meaningful way … will be interesting as it’s Zoll’s call this off season with not much advise from personnel because they have cleaned house in scouting and FO positions …

If he is left unprotected I could see a team add him to the roster as an outfielder and a pinch runner in games …. teams have had players in the past do exactly that ( play a position and pinch runner, the royals come to mind … so if there is a rule 5 draft , a team could utilize him this way for a season and then have him back in the minors honing his hitting skills the following season …

Morris did well through the season until he tired down the stretch so it seems … is endurance in his future along with his season of experience , it was a decent season for a pitcher that came through our system , he delivered and strengthened our bullpen , let’s hope he continues to get better …

Tampa , Cleveland and the brewer have very good managers , some people think managers aren’t responsible for the team outcome , we’ll see better managing in the World Series … congratulations to the brewers , it was a very satisfying 4 game sweep of the dodgers …

I really liked Kody Clemens defense wherever he played and his production at the plate was enough for consideration though he kind of fizzled towards the end of the season … keaschall is a fun player to create excitement on the bases , his defense will improve in right field , better than wallner but we were spoiled by Kepler … morris was very good until he fizzed towards the end of season … we didn’t have a player that was consistent for the whole season … Players either had a good start and fizzed or a slow start and managed to elevate their game … no mention of Bell , I guess RBIs really don’t matter … -

Finally a positive article , thank you … prielipp had a great month of September and is deserving of the year long effort … culpepper didn’t pass eligibility for rookie status , so he can continue as a rookie next season , he swings hard and has a good bat , will next season be considered his sophomore year even though he’s still in the rookie stage with less than the qualifying at bats ??? -
Grading Zoll , if we grade falvey with an F , Zoll an apprentice under falvey and we get the same mind boggling decisions we got from falvey … we didn’t see any difference with Zoll calling the shots , it’s like falvey never left … get rid of Zoll or pohlads give him the money to acquire high upside talent , not use the money like falvey did for just an average player for depth believing our roster was good enough to contend … will we see Zoll being better at adding players that fill a needed position rather than just a depth player … time will tell …

I hope the pohlads who don’t like baseball but could learn something about business during the playoffs … you put a winning team together and you will pack the stadium with fans , I’m sure there is not a empty seat in Milwaukee …

What the twins front office needs is a bottle with a genie in it , rub the bottle and release the genie , the twins won’t need three wishes , just ask the genie to construct a team with players that will win the world series … payroll , falvey never spent wisely on free agents waiting for the asking demands and talent to dwindle , with zoll and and the pohlads still in charge can we expect change that they will be choosing from the top of the talent pool …

This was not humor , all first round draft choices or compensation picks that the twins couldn’t tap into the talent at the major league level … falvey took charge and cleaned house by terminating Ryan’s personal , ( falvey words not mine ) we have hired all top professionals at every position to restructure every phase in the organization … pretty sad that these top professional coaches actually at the MLB level couldn’t develop them once reaching the hardest level , failure of falvey and Rocco’s plan … I feel better for the future with them gone though , kinda ironic that Rocco and falvey each went to a high payroll , ( Mets and dodgers ) …

They’re a lot of team city connect uniforms that are difficult to look at and the twins uniforms are no better , the team represents Minnesota not the cities though Minnie and Paul have been honored with a logo … I can live without the city connect uniforms …

Exactly the point … some fans are okay with mediocre FO and players , as a life long fan it is very hard to accept …

I’m right there with you Andy … i’d also emphasize that when in a clutch situation ( runners on base ) that our twins players need to make more adjustments and bare down in making contact , taking pitches to opposite fields either finds a hole , moves a runner up a base and also for opponents defense is forced to make the play .. twins usually hit just solo homeruns when it doesn’t matter and strikes out when it does matter … thanks , we needed this , there are some fans that are purists … hopefully we are changing in the right direction , 2026 season was more exciting than the previous seasons , we were not expected in my opinion to consistently compete or contend for the playoffs , hopefully we have a 2027 to prove we are better moving forward , I do have alittle more optimism going forward without Rocco and falvey being gone …

White Sox won 2 games in Cleveland and limited the Cleveland team to very few runs , Cleveland then clobbered white Sox with 9 runs in each game in Chicago … interesting how unpredictable this game can be in your home field advantage … does Chicago have it in them to upset Cleveland … game time now …
