    Gotta say this team has some fight in them … last years team and the year before , if they had a deficit in the first few innings , they were already thinking what’s for dinner and they definitely weren’t the comeback kids … this season has been good and with new optimism for next season batting keaschall and Culpepper 1 and 2 will definitely be an improvement for some years to come … the 2026 twins definitely have some fight in them , it was a good comeback to win 6-4 with pitching , clutch hits and good defense ,,,

    The speed in the minors is awesome , lots of players stealing bases , stealing over 30 bases a season is really impressive but once that speed arrives in MLB where does it go …

    The only thing that comes to mind is our system of development failed on a lot of these players … buxton when healthy is the only star ⭐️, berrios and a few others were above average but a lot of disappointing prospects … I don’t live on hype , I live for results , still to early on Jenkins to determine what kind of player he will be , he’s got a pedigree and hopefully he has a great career with the twins …

    Some have already said that it wasn’t a collapse and I would agree … we’ve had a fun season of baseball when expectations were so low , no helpful additions to bullpen in the off season and additions at deadline was a day late and a dollar short … I’ve. Enjoyed the season of some good games and some badly played games … Shelton has steered the ship and has been adequate , let’s see how he does in his second season before we really start criticizing him … I expected the team coming out of spring training to lose a lot ( like 162 games 🤣 ) and finish in last place … so no collapse , just a team that is not consistent enough but played more entertaining games this year than the past years … yes blame goes to front office and ownership , the players were fighters this year you have to grant them that , even last night when we all thought we couldn’t comeback down by 4 runs , they fought and tied it , but lost in extra manfred innings … always rooting for the twins , I’ll take what they have given as a positive , GO TWINS …

    Great to have a positive report on canterino … he has a dream that won’t let go and he’s working hard to accomplish that dream , hope all the injuries are behind him and he can have that opportunity in the MLB … rehab in September and AFL and bring him to spring training hopefully healthy and ready to go … thanks Cody for the article ..

    The thing to watch is how Jenkins hits QUALITY starting pitching , pitch selection , hitting to all fields … Jenkins is auditioning and other teams in September are auditioning AAA pitchers , some quality and some fringe pitchers … let’s just see how he responds to the MLB better pitchers …

    Great bullpen game , prelipp pitched 5 innings , 3 hits and no runs … the lineup made contact , strung hits together , hit homeruns with runners on base , pulverized the tigers for the second day in arow for a series win , now we need to continue the win streak and sweep the series … game thread was more interested in discussing the most gamey meal they’ve ever eaten , it was interesting but the game was more exciting …
