    Yep , it finally caught up to me , I no longer climb trees and I won't roof a house like I did mine last summer , it put some aches in my knees ... I have no concerns about buxtons play as long as hes healthy , if hes accurate on his throw to the cut off man I'll take that plus his defense in center and his offense he generates when healthy , knock on wood ... Grand slam last night for Buxton, he'll be fine for some years ... I too think Cody Christie shouldn't quit his day job ...

    I kinda agree too , gray has never really had an opportunity to play much in MLB , the twins of course have given him the opportunity to play , hes got more at bats , homers , rbi's than he ever had , so for him I'm sure hes having a good time collecting a mlb salary , is Kreidler better defensively , probably , is his hitting or for that matter Gray 's hitting going be a plus , we will have to wait and see how long before Gray wears down and twins make a move ... He has won some games for us with the bat and does make a nice play ever sometimes ...

    Hour and a half before first pitch , I'm primed to stay awake for the game ... Looking forward to a first inning ambush we have seen the past few games , come out with a killer instinct ... Let's go twins, your sucking me back in again , for how long , that is to be determined ...

    I'm not going to speculate how many wins the twins are going to win , if they would have added less than 70 to the poll his spring I would have selected that ... Yes they are playing better baseball than anyone expected and if and it's a BIG IF , they are 500 at the end of the year , I would consider that a satisfying season , even finishing better than last years record would be an accomplishment ... The biggest improvement we made this past off season was replacing baldelli and falvey resigning , they were not winners ... I will say it again , jeffers will be definitely traded regardless ( no way are they offering a qualifying offer , they have 2 other catchers to fall back on ) and maybe a few others with no control after this year , six more weeks till deadline , we'll just have to wait and see how exciting and hungry the team is ... Consistency and killer instinct , do we have that in our roster ... Sheldon has this team playing better than _______ ....

    I watched the game , cubbies score 7 runs off gausman in first inning , talk about taking the wind out your sail ... Toronto couldn't muster more than 5 hits , 16 to 2 loss to cubbies ...

    Even a blind squirrel can find an acorn once in awhile ... I don't expect the twins to find a acorn and improve to a contender ... Lots of holes and they continue to do almost nothing to improve them ... We are playing good competitive games now but are we going to continue to take 1 step forward and then 3 steps back as has been the case the past few years ... It's been a better team than anyone ever expected , I always said we would never win with falvey and baldelli and by them now gone we are playing more exciting games ... Deadline aways away , but I see the twins selling , what they receive in return should be major league ready caliber players to make us better this year and beyond ...

    Way to early to speculate on the MVP award , injuries could also happen , God forbid ... Buxton may get in the top 10 or top 5 for voting if he stays healthy the remainder of the season , but is just defense and solo homeruns going to get him the award ... Didn't Buxton win player of the week twice already this season ...

    Gomez reminds me of another pitcher that was lousy for some seasons and had a good half season and our famous trade of Lopez from Baltimore happened ... I sure hope I'm wrong and the twins struck gold by tinkering with his pitching arm slot and pitch selection , he's been good since acquired ...

    Nice series , twins out scored the rangers 25 to 7 for a series sweep , team has a 4 game winning streak ... Offense has woken up , 1st inning runs are always appreciated especially to the starting pitcher ... Fun to watch when we have good Offense , defense and pitching ... 5 relievers followed Ryan , two were acceptable ( Morris and Orze ) , Lawrence , Roger's and Lawyerson not so much ... Good bet when they activate Abel for Arizona series that Lawrence is DFA'd , if not the team FO personal are crazy ...

    Let keaschall stay at second base and see if his fielding and throwing can develop better as the season goes on , the kid lives and breathes baseball , maybe his early struggles at the plate caused some lack of focus or mental problems in fielding that we are seeing on easier plays ... We have enough utility players and I'm a believer in finding players to play and develop one position ...

    Pitching , defense and hitting , the twins did it all in a double digit win tonight ... Matthew's, you give your pitcher some runs early and most times a pitcher can relax some and that's what looks like happened with zebby tonight , seven innings from starter and 2 from bullpen ... Good team effort tonight , 5 games back of 500 , keep playing ball like tonight and we just might get to 500 , but I've been sucked in before ...
