Great final day of the season , winning it and playing spoiler going into the off season is a better memory than losing it ( see Texas ranger fans ) … bell had a good day and just short of a hundred RBI’s , he earned his contract and will be playing somewhere in the MLB next year … kremer was the most consistent acquisition player down the stretch … Regardless of what Morneau said , Clemens had his career year on offense and his defense is very solid wherever he plays , CLEMENS TWINS MVP FOR 2026 , Lee did have a good season but there should be more left to see …

I wish we were more optimistic about Provus and Moreau being replaced
  3. Blyleven2011
Kremer the most consistent player since acquired …

Maybe Jeffers could become a very good professional umpire , if there is such a thing ,,,

I hope bells 🔔 🔔 aim is high today , only needs 6 more rbis to finish with 100

Sabato has played 2 games in frisco and has pinch hit against Texas , he has 6 at bats , 3 strikeouts so far … it would be nice to have him play another game ( last game ) but twins most likely want to play spoiler … he should get a pinch hitting opportunity today , everyone should get an opportunity in the last game of the season …

Looks like a decent lineup for our last game against a left handed …

This has nothing to do with how the teams in our division played , they played poorly enough to make the twins look good … never considered the twins to be any good if we did actually get into the playoffs … the twins did look good in stages of the season ( when Jeffers hit the IL list , that was one stretch of good baseball ) and they did exceed my expectations throughout the season by playing more exciting games , they had more fight in them when down by a crooked number than previous seasons … still lots to do to make this team a serious contender , LETS OPEN THAT WINDOW GOING FORWARD POHLADS …

Everyday is different , can’t win them all … Wet drizzle falling rain during game , twins didn’t play spoiler today … one game of twins season left … the twins exceeded my expectations as a team , but the front office and ownership failed to produce a quality product …

A nice win against degrom , twins had his number tonight and played spoiler … I think everyone thought after Joe Ryan and his experience let 2 runs cross the plate that our chances of winning against degrom were not in our favor , but a six run crooked number inning changed all that and Joe Ryan was Joe Ryan for the next 5 innings .… twins scored 10 unanswered runs , 2 more wins to go to finish the season

LONG GONE … the Mets have one of the highest payrolls , they just can’t seem to win buying players and paying them stupid money , now they hired Derek Falvey in their FO … the miracle Mets will never learn …

    NO WHY ???
  13. Blyleven2011
Now we need the Ryan experience to improve his trade value …
  14. Blyleven2011
Hit to right field , we need our hitters to do a lot more of that … a great inning
  15. Blyleven2011
Station to station getting the job done , we need insurance …
  16. Blyleven2011
They probably don’t fill them , saving money with the impending lockout and falvey hired way to many personnel to FO … less is more , easier to put the blame on an individual …

nice to see prelipp finish out the season healthy and with a good start , definitely will be in consideration for a rotation spot in 2027 if an when the season starts … twins managed to score enough runs and bullpen had good results , twins win there second in arow , now will they play spoiler and beat up on Texas who are a team over 500 but not by much … should be an interesting series to conclude the season , I’d like the promising young players to finish the season with a five game winning streak …
  18. Blyleven2011
I see a pattern here with this team , they win one and lose one , no long winning streaks this season , they may not end the season as a 500 team but close which is better than expected … let’s win the last 4 game and have a 5 game winning streak to end with a positive … nice one run win , let’s win another …
  19. Blyleven2011
Why does a closer always make it interesting ???

Something sure changed and I agree it was at the time wallner was demoted to AAA , Martin was off to a great start at hitting and playing left field , after wallner was sent down his hitting suffered while playing right field … could switching to playing another position disrupt a players focus , ABSOLUTELY … Martin batting in the 330’s into May and average dropped a 100 points to the 230’s to finish the season , with his good eye and contact skills I don’t have the answers and yes I was all for Martin to be given a chance at second base but Rocco couldn’t see it …. this is just my two cents worth … thanks for the article
  23. Blyleven2011
We have three games , maybe they will enlighten us …
  24. Blyleven2011
Been there all night , the story they told about gladden putting his name on the all star ballot when he was with the giants … Kuiper was the instigator …
