I’m not a big fan of Cleveland or Chicago but you have to be impressed with the white Sox … it’s a good story always when you go from losers to winners … someday I hope the twins can be a more consistent winning team ..

White Sox almost dug a hole with the opener walking the bases loaded , managed to evade scoring by Cleveland by bringing in Fedde to close out the Cleveland threat , Does fedde have the rest to go 5 innings or more …

It would be nice if the FO could fill the position , do they see a problem here , they haven’t in years , playing ring around the rossie .. it’s time to be smart or go home , a permanent player for 3 years or more of control at first base would be nice that can hit both lefties and righties … It’s time we get everyday players that can hit and play defense and use the utility players as utility players

Evaluation of talent , they don’t seem to develop AAA Talent once they reach the major league level ( Miranda, Julian , wallner ) are perfect examples especially under the Rocco and falvey years … the twins are trimming payroll by reducing scouting department and most likely relying on computer analytics analysis … do we have stars on the roster, we definitely have some good players , five tool players in my opinion should be considered for locking up into an extension , keaschall once he learns playing a better defensive position and I think he will , Bradley showed 1 up and down season, has to cut down on the walks … another year on establishing themselves at the major league level on the other mentioned players before extension talks , the new prospects might make it on the roster coming out of spring training but some of them could end up back in AAA for more seasoning … Do you believe anything coming out of the front office , could it be that it is another maneuver to create fan interest , I could see it , in the end they could say we tried to extend some players to an extension but we were to far apart in terms …

And everyone is counting on T . P. To solve those problems that JP and D.P. Created , can T.P. Solve at least half of those 99 problems … JP and DP Really allowed falvey to create these problems and TP says zoll is staying , I don’t know exactly if he’s on the right track yet , I guess we have to wait and see on Zoll one more year …

Prielipp was impressive in his rookie season , why was he impressive , because he showed he was maturing after every start , we need his lefthanded ability in our rotation … August wasn’t great but September showed he wasn’t out of gas completely … if the young man can stay healthy , let’s hope he continue on a respectable career , he has work to do on the change up , he’s not sweet music yet but that be the comparison in time …

First day of playoffs over in wild card series … Atlanta starts it out with a win over Phillies … White Sox win over astros ( probably be astros last appearance for awhile in post season play ) … yankees win over Red Sox ( damn Yankees ) … san Diego wins over the lovable losers ( cubbies ) , king pitches 6 plus innings of no hit ball … good thing it was raining in northern Minnesota to catch all the action …

One thing that is missing from our lineup is a killer instinct on clutch hitting ( pressure is not there specialty ) , another is not hitting to all fields … if our hitters would hit to all fields they would get more seeing eye hits as defense wouldn’t know exactly where to position themselves … Buxton when healthy and producing is as close to a super star as the twins have had , Correa and Donaldson were good but more prima donnas … we definitely need a better hitting lineup and bullpen help … it was a better season in 2026 , exciting games that they fought through , it was a little different style of baseball with Shelton managing …

Thanks for the week in review reports , this season was so much better in a review going forward , the games were more exciting , WIN OR LOSE , they had some fight in them … the past few seasons 2024-25 seemed like the week in review was always a WEEK IN REVERSE , hard to watch games … Hope we get that go big or go home that tom p promised !!!- 19 replies

Brewers for the national league , tough call on American League , rays I guess … I watch it all to the end , always good defense , pitching to go with offense in playoffs and World Series … you watch this game long enough and you will see things in baseball you have never seen …
