    He needs work on his defense , I think he is still nervous playing the field and it shows , he out there at the 2nd base position saying to himself , don't hit it to me .... Just my opinion and I hope he can improve or someone else needs to have the defensive position at 2nd ...

    That why we are a 500 team because 50 percent of the runs comes by the homer ... Walks , HBP , singles , doubles and triples , sacrifice flies and other ways to manufacture runs ... It's great we can get a homerun or two in a game , but also need to manufacture runs other ways in the same game or really any game ...

    Nice 3 game winning streak ... I wasn't expecting maeda to pitch this effectively so was pleasantly surprised ... Rocco getting ejected again , ( does it help fire up the lineup and players ) , maybe , maybe not , but it's something Rocco doesn't show much of ( emotion ) ... Great start to the series , now go clean house in Detroit and sweep the tigers under the rug ... We need a 10 game winning streak , keep the fires burning ...

    Don't forget he gave up 46 homers in 1987 but mostly solos and they didn't hurt as much so he keeps saying .. Bert being Bert ...

    All logical choices to trade that are playing well currently that could help another team ,,, We have a surplus of players in AAA or below playing well in the minors that are blocked and will potentially lose them unprotected in the rule 5 draft ...

    Sellers or buyers .... Commanding the first place lead in the division at 500 is not a pretty picture , Our goal is to win the division ... I see this team going nowhere in the 2023 playoffs against better teams but anything can happen , I have seen the 2019 and 2020 playoffs go nowhere because our hitting went south against better pitching .... I'm not seeing enough from the lineup to consider it worthy of even being in the playoffs because our lineup is even worse now during this season and wouldn't stackup again against better pitching in the playoffs ... Our Starting pitching has performed well up to now and has been keeping us in practically every game , but still alot of games left and who will remain healthy to contribute to the playoffs , our lineup and bullpen have been our main contributors for our 500 record ... I would be willing to be sellers of some veterans and some others if we continue to play 500 ball to the deadline , if we play 500 ball to the deadline there will be to many holes to fill to right the ship ... I can't take this team or fo office seriously until they Can get hungry with a killer instinct and distance themselves from the rest of the division , they've had every opportunity to do this but have failed miserably ... I will continue to follow the twins , win or lose ...

    let our younger player's play ... I feel for keuchel that he still wants to play but he only had 1 good season with Chicago and 2 not so good and released , and then Arizona , Texas and released ... I guess experience maybe helpful and a minor league contract to see if he can still pitch effectively is alright for depth ...

    Hot day at the park but well worth the atmosphere .... Twins jump out early against opener , twins hitters faced 3 different pitchers and only struck 5 times and only made 24 outs because they didn't have to bat in the both of the ninth , HOW often has that happened ... I think this is also our first win against an opener ...

    Umpire sunk and is still sinking since both umpire leagues merged together ( american and national leagues ) ... That's when I think the umpiring started to drift southwards and put their jobs are in jeopardy with robots replacing them and their incompetence ... Jim Joyce taking away a no hitter calling a guy safe when he was two steps off the base and was clearly out , before replay reviews ...

    Sure glad we won , cleveland won tonight and had we lost it would have been two teams below 500 tied for first in the division ... 2 games in a row with less than 10 strikeouts , 2 errors .... Boston leads the league in doubles , I sure wish the twins would hit more cause all you need is a string of singles an a couple of doubles and the runs will come , if you make contact that is .... It was a better game , the Milwaukee series was the best of this homestand

    Terry Ryan was a smart baseball man and still is , if the pohlads had given him the resources that the current regime has , it could have been a different story for Ryan ... The current FO not hitting their weight in 7 years with increased payroll says alot , they've made alot of questionable moves and no pitching pipeline as of yet which he promised he would do the day of his press release .... You want to believe every word that FO and Rocco say that's fine with me ... I do not believe a word of it from them ,,, Terry Ryan may have had bad luck drafting number 1 talent and is why alot of fans wanted to move on ... Terry Ryan was always up front with the team to the fans and so was Kelly and gardenhire ( gardy was alittle more harsh ) ... Today's FO and manager go with the privacy act and the FO goes into hiding when things don't go well ( no accountability ), is that what you want ... Ryan would accept the total blame for the failures of the twins even if the failures weren't his fault ... Ryan wanted to succeed but had restraints ... Current FO has an unlimited payroll so it seems and pisses it away ...

    This team is unwatchable , but I keep watching waiting and waiting for it to turn around ... It could happen but with this plan of theirs I seriously doubt it ...

    I would not compare Buxton to Kepler , as stated in another post Kepler can play defense and Buxton is just a DH .... If your going to compare his offense right now I would put him in a class of Sano , he had terrible number's and defense was shabby ... This is painful to write as Buxton has so much talent that he never fully tapped into but showed some flashes ...

    Cincinnati traded away the veterans and now have some prospects playing and Cincinnati is in first place in their division , You want to watch some of the prospects from twins and mariners. Watch Cincinnati and listen to it on WKRP in Cincinnati

    Ryan ,mahle and maybe someone else went to driveline over the winter ... It seems to have helped Ryan some , sometimes you need a different voice ... I hope all the current twins make reservations at driveline this winter ...

    I just hope we draft the best athletic available 5 tool players , if the draft is heavy with talent there should be alot of 5 tool players to go around , we need players that will be exciting and make the highlight plays ... No 1 tool player that can hit only or injury prone player please ...

    Crazy we were all clamoring for Lewis and now we are picking him apart ... If he has holes in his swing , it's up to HIM and COACHES to get it fixed ... If he is a below average defender at third base it is up to HIM and the COACHES to get it fixed ... To me it seems when a player gets to the show , Rocco and coaches think that player doesn't need further coaching to make that talent even a better talent , Rocco has always said that the players should prepare for the game as they seem fit ... That's why we lack the real fundamentals of the game in my personal opinion ...
