    I'm okay with a collapse , I won't like it but if that what it takes ownership to wake up and see this isn't acceptable baseball for the Twins fans , then so be it ... Time for this FO and coaches to go , they just don't have the skills to operate a roster that have quality skills , 2 plus years of embarrassing baseball is not acceptable , WE ARE NOT GOiNG IN THE RiGHT DIRECTION ...., but for what , to lose in the playoffs ... yes we could and should win the division Need new quality baseball minds to run this team with a goal set to win more than just the division title ... We are not contenders , stop being pretenders ...

    I agree , my thought was since Cleveland and the rest of the central selling we could win the division with youth and trade away some veterans on expiring contracts ... 1 pitcher , an outfielder and reset for next year With the return .,. If the FO are pretenders we will win in the playoffs with this constructed roster , they are mistaken unless our goid starting pitchering each throws a shutout , we will have a hard time scoring runs in the playoffs .

    Yes I hope there is some excitement from this team to finish the season , maybe a 10 plus winning streaks would help ... To stand pat ... Cleveland sold off pitcher and first basemen so the FO probably decided to stand pat and not trade for help cause we should win the division easily with a 500 record ... Heck we could have traded 1 of gray or maeda ( pitching ) , Keplerfor something as his value has grown of late and dfa Gallo and still win the division with our younger players , the trades would have helped us reset for 2024 and beyond , but they stood pat when they should have traded for prospects because we can win the division with what we got but are going nowhere in the playoff unless we turn into the 2007 Colorado rockies and win 11 games in a row to end season and then sweep the nls /nlcs and get to the world series , and then lose in 4 games to Boston ... We need angels in the outfield ...

    The Twins have been losers for the last 3 seasons , get a grip on it , for some reason you think Kepler should stay , if it wasn't for his defense he wouldn't be here , his streaky hitting has hurt the team more than it has helped ... I know Kepler is your favorite player and probably the best rightfielder since Oliva but he just isn't a offensive producer to stay on the team , he'll be gone at the end of the season for sure and you can root for him on another team ... Get use to it ...

    It wouldn't be silly at all to trade 1 of the 2 pitcher's ( gray or maeda ) ... What we traded away last deadline and got nothing in return ( j. Lopez and mahle ) ... 2 expiring contracts it would be okay to try and recapture some talent by trading one or the other .... Twins could still likely win the division but have no chance of winning the world series ...

    It's been a bad baseball season for Twins fans to follow the underperforming lineup ... It could get worse unless the formula for winning changes .... We barely have any leaders on the 26 man roster , we definitely don't have a manager and FO that are leaders ...

    The way maeda has pitched since coming off the injured list I think his value would be higher than gray in a trade ... Thextwins have the option with Gray with a qualifying offer , the Twins will need more value for Gray in a trade than just a compensation pick , would teams give up more for Sonny , I guess we will see by this evening .... I'm in favor of trading one of the two for the future of the Twins ...

    1 . FO won't trade for just a rental player . They want some control , at least a year beyond this season ... 2 . Twins need to many pieces to fix this team this year , retool for 2024 and trade ( one of gray or maeda ) , dfa Gallo or package him with Kepler, we don't need the depth for the final 2 months ...let the prospects play .... We aren't contenders and got to stop being pretenders .... It also isn't just the players that are underperforming , the coaching staff needs to be have a overhaul too ...

    Week in reverse again .... One step forward and three steps back .... Really , 2 losses to Seattle and 3 losses to Kansas city ... Kiriloff injury is going to hurt are we Contenders or pretenders ... FO are pretenders that their plan will work and put fans in the stands ... Fans want to win the division and raise the divisional flag , what would be proud of that if we win the division with a 500 record ... I don't like following losers but I have followed the Twins faithfully since the sixties ... This team is contenders with the starting pitching ... The team are pretenders with the lineup and their plan of execution ... I love the Twins but we should sell some at the deadline and stop being pretenders , play the younger players and prospects and if they finish the season and win the divisional flag at a 500 record , that would be something to be proud of and a step in the right direction for 2024 ...

    Up in the office they have a dart board with the position players , They throw darts to see who gets to play , then rethrow the darts on the decidedly startèrs to see what the batting order is ... I have no confidence and lack respect for the plan the FO and Rocco try to pass off as quality baseball ...

    I sure hope things change too ... We need a new direction in the plan , FO and roccos interpretation of baseball isn't working on a consistent basis , I think we have longer losing streaks than winning streaks ... We need a change for the players sake because with the way they are performing there are no players to consider for the Twins hall of fame of the HOF period ... I know you have been a fan of our beloved fan since 61 ... Look at the hall of fame players Calvin had playing for us , the cheap b**terd ...

    Good to hear that a few of our new draftees are making there debut , we drafted quite a few pitchers , they will probably bring them along aliitle slower ... It seems to be the norm for drafted pitchers in their first year of professional ball ...

    I'm not ready to give up on larnach yet , yes He has some flaws to work on with the off speed pitches ... He not over the hill yet so the young dog should learn new tricks , he just needs to identify the pitches better , his defense looks better this year but the off speed pitches are his worst enemy , larnach should go to driveline this winter to work on his hitting , a fresh approach with a different voice just might be the key to unlock him into a pretty good player , if he fails from driveline and with the Twins next year , then it is time to move on .... Are you listening Trevor , driveline is almost on your backyard ...

    If you remember , last year we were not contenders and many fans didn't want to trade prospects because we were just in first place , first place but not contenders , the trades failed and we dropped out of first place , was it injuries or just bad baseball ... This year we are better , starting pitching is solid , hitting seems to be coming around lately and I don't see the FO making any significant upgrades , trading or dfa veteran players is possible , Let the young players and prospects play the game , Yes we gave up a bundle for J. Lopez and mahle at last years deadline ... I agree that somethings do click sometimes when a player is traded to another team , a different voice may help ( cano ) ...

    Hope it works out for Jorge being close to the family .... He cost us a bundle , an Allstar Cano, a prospect pitcher and other fringe players and now we trade for a rental player floro .... Boy is the pressure now on floro to succeed or the fans are going to roast him ( or maybe the FO should be roasted ) because of the cost to get Lopez at deadline last year ... Can we win with this FO or manager , I've been waiting , waiting and waiting ... It's like the energizer bunny only in reverse ....

    Great to see 2 come from behind walk off wins at home ... Maeda continues to surprise me with his consistency since coming back from his injury , I was clamoring for maeda to be in the bullpen but it looks like the right move as he keeps us in the game .... Still some work to do if the Twins are to be taken seriously as a contender , they have played better since the allstar break and I hope they continue to do so ... As of yesterday , cleveland and the twins hadn't signed their first round pick in 2023 ... hope they sign walker Jenkins ...
