    Hey doc ... Since you touched on catching , did you hear Endy Rodriguez tore his acl or ucl and out for the season of 2024 , I know liked him as a catcher because before he made his debut you were always advocating for the twins to trade for him ... For those that need cheap streaming and can watch any game , any sport with no blackouts .... I use uzzu tv.app ... 130 bucks for the year and has worked fine for me at home west of the cities , but alittle iffy sometimes at the lake on weekends when all the vacationers are using the towers ...

    No question , everyone loves keplers defense ... His value has risen since last years off season , the Twins tried to trade him during last off season and didn't find a trade worth taking ... Now his 2nd half hitting has increased his value and he's still a twin , do we value Kepler more than other teams , of course we do , will other teams look at his 2nd half hitting and think he has found his secret to success and value him more than last off season , I don't know ... Someone mentioned that offense is the best defense , I personally would like both ... Can he duplicate his 2nd half of last season that definitely helped our offense , time will tell if he is still even on our roster and if he stays on the roster , i do hope for his defense and offense to help carry us towardstwins win ... I hope Bauer signs with someone else so Kepler can have 3 homer games ... Sit back and relax , our fo moves slowly ...

    A few years back Lugo was a spot starter for the Mets and had some success , I was interested in him a few years ago but at 34 he was out of our price range, 3 years , 45 million , he did well for a payday ... Kansas city needed to improve their starting pitching and he should help the royals out his first year for sure coming to another league has some advantages ... Maybe the royals won't finish in last place in 2024 ...

    I'll agree , he's a flier to watch and the dodgers could dfa him in spring training to make room on their 40 man roster ...

    I'm not sure what team I dislike more ... The dodgers or the Yankees ... It definitely used to be the Yankees , now I'm not so sure ... Players are entitled to all the money they can negotiate , the only team that really clearly bought and were successful in winning a world series was the marlins and then dismantled the following year ... Your never guaranteed to win a world series when you spend big money ...

    Hey , it's available to players needing an extra voice that might boost there career ,, Why does a player fail with one franchise and then succeeds with another franchise ... Because the other team may have seen a small tweak or correction the other team had not seen .. To much information can hurt a player trying to right the ship ,, It's the right information that counts to right the ship ... Driveline is a professional company to help athletes , you are going to have a difficult time just listening to voices , you need to ask questions and something just might pop... For example , Doctor is working a 16 hours shift at the hospital , he comes in and looks at chart , checks the patient vitals and frowns , because of the long day he's tired and brain isn't sharp patient or most like a family member ask a few Questions or two or three and a light bulb goes off and alerts the doctor of a possible method to help his patient get better ... Even a stupid question isn't a dumb question if you learned from it ...

    Finally an article that gives keirsey some respect .... Martin had a great AFL in 2022 , had he not injured himself early in 2023 , he most likely would have been on the 26 man roster at some point during the 2023 season and if he performed well we wouldn't be having this conversation , Martin if he has a good spring has a great chance at making the roster if Buxton isnt ready to go in centerfield ... Like others have mentioned , trade for pitching first , then fill a position with a right handed bat ... Will larnach be on the team , sure hope he went to driveline to work on identifying pitches and can learn to hit the offspeed stuff , it's his last chance to wear a twins uniform ....

    The twins need a spark in the lineup , if he hits like he did late in the season at AAA , there is no reason not to have his bat in the twins lineup at top of the order with Julien ( if neither is traded ) ... If he can play left field and centerfield his value will finally come to fruition ... The shoulder and Tommy John scare concerns me , let's hope rest and physical therapy has help mend his injury concerns ...

    The price of doing business just went up ... As usual the dodgers are saying they have more money then the other teams bidding for ohtani , and even the rest of the league ... Pagans 2 year million per season plus incentives looks like a steal now ... The players just found out that there is money in baseball and now don't need to see the teams profit and loss statements ... Prices just escalated for the remaining free agents , Yamamoto will now be looking for 300 plus million to sign , Soto will now take 500 plus million to extend his Yankees contract ... 70 million dollar average annual salary is insane ... Is this good for the league , some small market owners will now be selling their teams once they stop rolling there eyes ... Who's to blame , Manfred was hired as commissioner to run baseball operations , but really he was hired by the owners to work for them ... A contract like the elite players are getting today is only hurting the fans more in there pocket book ... Ticket prices , parking , beer , hotdogs and concessions , fan apparel , it's all going up , What family is going to afford to take their family to see a game , not an average family ... Baseball used to be a family get together , it is not any longer ... I may be able to go to games but the rest of my family will pass , I'm sure of it ...

    Players that really should be at driveline ... I heard Ryan was going back ... Haven't heard of any others ... Some that should go are , larnach to save his Twins career ... Gordon to work on getting back to where hw was in 2022 after an injury wiped out his 2023 ... Anyone else I'm missing , Julien could work on his defense , Driveline could help alot of these players with different instructors having different ideas never hurts ...

    We need someone to eat low leverage innings that pagan more or less thrived , durability he did give in 2 seasons , but he mostly gave us heart attacks ... We have winder , Balazovic , sands , headrick and who am I missing , Headrick is the most durable of the mentioned above , but that's what we have right now Going forward , yes I'm sure they will add some BP arms on minor league contracts ... Pagans innings shouldn't be hard to fill ... Like it or not , That's my story and I'm sticking to it ....

    If he lays off that high and inside pitch he can't handle , that would be nice ... I expect Correa will be better after recovering from his injury that he played with until the last 2 weeks , he played while not 100 percent , says something about his character ... Polanco has been another player that has played under 100 percent healthy ... I sure hope we have a nice warm spring and the Twins get off to a nice start ...

    Going into the 2023 minor league season the FO and scouting department were high on Lewis and he pitched like they thought he would ... The others they were pleasantly surprised with , let's hope it grows into our pipeline of pitchers ... That's a bold prediction on Lewis over Festa , but one never knows ...

    Yes , swr has taken a few steps back since his debut start in 2022 , last game of the season I think ... He started looking better in second half last season , let's hope there is still a future for him , still young enough , has been pushed rapidly through the minors and stalling out in AAA , but again he is still young ...

    Is this finally the pipeline of pitchers , have the scouting department and FO hit the bullseye in 2022 ... Did They do alright in 2023 too , to early to tell ... If a player is on the 40 man roster ( starting pitcher ) , and is performing good , the FO will pick from there , Festa is close and Lewis is intriguing ... they like ohl alot and he made a breakout in second half of 2023 , improved his velocity and still maintained his control ... Canterino has been a starter and has great stuff , limited due to injuries and Tommy John surgery , my guess they will use him in the bullpen and try to ease him along ... It's nice to know we have some arms that showed great promise after 1 year of proball ... FO usually doesn't move all that fast at promoting , this could be a special group to keep watching their progress ...

    So your point is the Twins should spend the big bucks too with our window of opportunity ... This isn't that great of a free agency , pitching has a few quality arms but Twins Won't spend on pitching , trade hopefully is coming for a quality arm for the rotation and we definitely need one if we want to be anything like the pitching was in 2023 ... Would you have paid 8 million for pagan , what did Pagan do , change agents ...

    Tbar is getting older and I think this is his last year of arbitration and free agent to follow , we need someone just as good as tbar , so why can't it be him ...

    Reds are spending money ... They over spent on pagan ( way over plus gave him incentives in the contract ) ... now they sign candelario for 15 million per year for 3 years plus , candelario signed with the nationals last year for 5 million and traded to cubs at deadline ( was it an over pay ? ) ... When will teams learn what mediocre players are worth ... When will teams realize money can't buy you a championship ... Twins FO with their patience does get mediocre players at a more reasonable rate , I'll grant them that ... I'm not sure this is the year we trade with miami , if we have to give up the talent that other post have mentioned I'd rather go to the northwest and deal with the mariners for Gilbert if available ... Miami does have pitching and FO could fallback to them ... Better get going before the other teams get the pitching we desire ..

    Sometimes first year managers , the players play really hard to impress and win the division , I've seen it happen many times so Cleveland is a small threat ... Hinch and his Detroit players are going in the right direction but I think they are still at least one more year from challenging for the division , we'll see ... White Sox retooling , Kansas city taking there own sweet time to get it together ... On paper we are good to defend our division title , but as we sit now we have some openings that need addressing ... As most believe it is through a trade we will add these needs , sure hope they're quality , we don't need another experience with someone who might turn there season around ...

    Twins let them all walk ... They all got their payday , not sure why Cincinnati offered that kind of money per year plus incentives for pagan, after his 2022 season , he would have been lucky to get a MLB contract ... That's all I have to say about that ...
