  1. This. They’re likely to be the healthiest they can and have all (most) hands on deck early. Seems like a good test.
  2. Right. Aaron said it was all about the wrists.
  3. Yes, observer psychology is definitely a thing as well.
  4. “These are not the fans you are looking for.”
  5. There’s always the famous Renaissance left-handed philosopher Locke St. John.
  6. Winder or Sands would be my guess. I think Ober remains a starter (possibly in St. Paul for a time) unless he fails badly in the role.
  7. Musk will probably buy the whole shebang and we can watch games live streamed from Mars, subject to the 5-20 minute communications delay, of course.
  8. Frank Viola and Brad Radke were also changeup masters. Approaching any of the three would be a great achievement and a huge asset.
  9. If I recall, Rocco used to be partial to Kepler leading off.
  10. I still kinda compare Kepler’s trade value with Denard Span. So I’d expect to get a pitching prospect on the order of Alex Meyer.
  11. Someone needs to tell MLBTR that they have to add ‘rally monkey’ as a choice in this poll.
  12. Are there examples of teams who have done this? Traded veteran starters for prospects while contending? I won’t be shocked if there are, but they would be pretty rare, I expect.
  13. I’d say a bench of Jeffers, Gordon, Farmer, and TBD, where TBD is a decent pinch hitter type, would be a strong bench.
  14. And we’re confident the zone in Target Field and the zone in Yankee Stadium will be the same?
  15. I foresee another consequence of this is that the strike zone will be adjusted by the Commissioner's office regularly much as the balls have. Consistency?
