    I’d have to say Falvey, Levine, Joe Pohlad, Rocco, the staff, and his teammates also had something to do with saving the off-season. Also Boras and maybe even some of the fan base. Point being, giving so much credit to one person overlooks some of the other praiseworthy participants.

    Once more, let him opt back in to year two of the original three year deal. And he can opt out again at the end of the season. That will give time for Lewis and Lee to prepare.

    Fwiw, I’d rather the organization pour the unspent funds into the Twins Community Fund to provide assistance to needy youth in the area. They already make a good contribution but there’s always more to do.
