We'll be there w/ the whole fam tonight. Unfortunately we were late to buy tickets and missed the Buxton hat promotion... oh well. Looking forward to another Bailey W!

So it is based on when you buy the ticket, you don't actually have to show up early to target field?

If i had dreams, you might have crushed a very small one...

(ps. my only time at target field, i was complimented for my hat)

Correct. The hat promotion was only available for special tickets purchased in specific sections. They were all sold out as of a few days ago.

It's weird getting older. 16-25 year old me knew every player on every team and knew their stats and how well they had done for the past few years. Even what positions they played or where I thought they would be better.

Now I look at the box score before a game and realize I've never heard of Brandon Young. What is a Brandon Young?

He’s probably never heard of you, either.

I wouldn't minded seeing Martin in there again tonight.  He hasn't been hitting righties well but it would be nice to see if there is some momentum from last night.  They get too stuck on the lefty righty matchups.  There is a time and place but it doesn't have to be so rigid.

This is why I do believe that the analytics staff does have input into the lineups, too many similarities in lineup construction between Rocco and Shelty.  And actually I think Shelty was a little less rigid early in the season and then it seemed to change.  I have not studied it, but it felt that way.

Maybe he will come out of the corn ala Willis Reed.

Wondering what theatrics are in store for this evening's game there.
