It’s causing a lot of harm to the working class. As a 15 year software sales guy, I have no idea how recent college graduates break into this field anymore. I get pitched every week about AI agents that make calls and set appointments all throughout the day. I take demo meetings from time to time, and the AI voice is getting really close to unrecognizable from humans.

Oh no AI is taking the place of the scammers. How terrible...

strange timing here with Royce ?

Only thing I can think of…Shelty wanted someone to get a chance to swing the bat before Roden, and he figured 100% that Larnach would have been walked intentionally. But Lewis got the unintentional intentional walk anyway. FWIW, Roden did put a good swing on one.

Or…Larnach hurt or ill?

Tell me about Roden again, George!

If only he could consistently bring it from AAA to the majors. Other than a couple key at bats, 2025 & 2026 attempts have been a disaster.

Ehh That's the ticket. Fedko, Wallner 26, Julien.

nobody can convince me that the no-trade clause is a good thing going forward.

Maybe Rob Manfred can?  He can probably find the wording in the CBA that grants players with 10 years of service time, 5 with the same team, no-trade rights.

It's true that Buxton's contract contained no-trade verbiage that applied prior to his 10-year anniversary.  But, you did say, "going forward," and as of this year it no longer matters what language the player and team agreed on.

I was assuming that is stricken from the new CBA this winter.

OR…

I was unaware.

I’ll let you determine which is more likely.
