He was very good in 2024 (WHIP under 1.00, K/9 of 10.7), took a step back in 2025 and doesn't seem like he's back to 100%. Might be a lost season for him.

FYI, Sands in 131 appearances in 2024-25 had a 3.89 ERA (3.11 FIP), 1.08 WHIP, 1.9 BB/9 and 9.4 K/9. He was a fine reliever, not a bum/garbage reliever.
