So just for fun, what's the actual score of the game today if you take out the errors, blunders, bad decisions, balks...  like 3 to 0 or something?

Entertaining stuff. Not good stuff, mind you, but certainly entertaining.

Like the circus. 😁

Fortunately, our offense came to play today, whereas our bullpen and the A's defense definitely didn't bother to show up.

Sands entered when there was too large a lead.  So he wasn't eligible.  (And with the number of runs he allowed, if he had been eligible when he came in, the lead would have been relinquished.)

Thanks to Sands, both Nance and Funderburk were eligible for a Hold, and they preserved the lead, so both get credited.

Thanks to 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th, Adams wasn't eligible for anything when he came in.

Here's the rules....I was not sure what the rule was...he entered with a 6-run lead, it was not a save/hold situation to begin with (a hold requires a lead of 3 runs or fewer, unless pitching 3+ finishing innings).
