I'd love to see him back on a 3 year deal. And hopefully by that third year he'll be back up catching, 1st base, dh, all around above average bat to complement whichever of our catching youngsters comes good.

Luis Arraez is what the field of dreams game wants to be.

So just for fun, what's the actual score of the game today if you take out the errors, blunders, bad decisions, balks... like 3 to 0 or something? Entertaining stuff. Not good stuff, mind you, but certainly entertaining. Like the circus. 😁

I wonder if Kody and Royce are looking at each other and wondering the same thing about now...
  5. rickyp
    What if I ... refuse?
  6. rickyp
At this point I think Kody needs to pitch the game out as well.

Prielipp getting charged with an earned run for that **** is so infuriating.

"defensive play of the game" rogers doesn't pick the ball cleanly, runner safe at first ump misses the call A's miss the challenge Seems about right for these teams 😅

I would just like to say, I am old enough to feel strangely uncomfortable seeing the twins wearing the gray and the whitesox in the powder blues. Also, I am old enough to call the cubs the whitesox. Where's my meds?

"It's a good thing we're awful or we wouldn't get good draft picks!" signed, every longtime timberwolves fan 😁

I thought we'd blocked the Jays phone number on the FO's phones after the Varland trade?

There is some fine O. Henry style irony that the only thing keeping this from being a really good team so far is that we don't have a bullpen. 🤔
  13. rickyp
Wow! Those hitting numbers are almost as high as our bullpen's with RISP 😁

    Messi 3 - Rangers 2

I would also visit the mound if my pitcher walked Keaschall after that last bat he had.

What does everybody think of Royce at 1st so far? To me he looks ... not bad? (which is probably an A++ on the Twins first basemen curve, lol)
  17. rickyp
Right. And he's found a permanent home in St Paul as far as I'm concerned, if that somehow wasn't clear.
  18. rickyp
Matt doesn't have to prove anything. He's already in Minnesota and he's found his level.
  19. rickyp
And why should we expect any different results under you than Rocco had last year with this team

Meanwhile in Toronto... bittersweet moment listening to the Jays announcers talking up Louis Varland 🥲
