Next year should be completely ABS on every pitch! Forget the silly tapping the hat….. pro tennis uses it with out much protest. MLB needs to welcome the 21st Century I'm not sold on full ABS until they cover the entire strike zone. Currently, the ABS system just measures the pitch on a 2D plane in the middle of the plate. I guarantee there are pitches that cover parts of the zone, but are out of the zone when measured by ABS. Until they fix that, I'm ok with the current system.
