Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 1 Posted July 1 At least it wasn't the bullpen that lit itself on fire last night. That's a good thing, right? Also, look at Bradley's ERA. Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Identical lineup as all series Keaschall starting in RF batting ninth. No Buck but maybe in NY? Kriedler in CF, Gray at SS. Take the series and win the tie breaker! Mortimerkenny21, RpR, Church of Kreidler and 1 other 4
wesnewy Verified Member Posted July 1 Posted July 1 I know he has only pitched four innings, but what are everyone thoughts on Marco Raya so far? I haven't been able to watch any of the games from this series. Patzky 1

Might as well send Fedko back down and bring Roden up. I completely agree with you on Fedko but I think they may keep him until Jeffers is ready to come back so they have someone to demote to make room on the 26 man roster. They can't demote Jackson because he is out of options and he will never survive waivers. With all the injuries to catchers in MLB there are at least 5 to 7 teams desperate for a passable backup or platoon catcher and Jackson fits that role, at least this year. I am with you though. I would send it down Fedko, have Roden meet the team in New York, and play him pretty regularly until Jeffers is ready to come back. I don't think he will be back until after the All-Star break so that gives you at least nine games to see what you have in Roden. Now you know what to do when Jeffers comes back, either demote Martin, send Roden back to AAA, or keep those two, make Kriedler the everyday SS and DFA Gray. I vote for the third option there but why not give Roden some run so you have some data to actually make an informed decision? Here's our chance guys. HarmonK03 and Patzky 2

I guess we feel we need him in NY or he'd be on IL I think the problem is that even if we backdated a 10 day IL stint for three days, Buxton wouldn't be available in York or against Cleveland. They must feel like he will be back and ready to play in one of those two series. Patzky 1
