Absolutely.  This has been an issue for Prielipp for many of his starts.  He just never fully imploded until tonight.  He will need some more seasoning in St. Paul when Abel is ready to come back.

It's been ugly all the way around. Poor at bats, poor pitching, awful defense. Other than that it's been ok.

Gutsy perrmance from the boys tonight, lucky they got it done last night or this could have been a four game sweep. This series kind of shows there is work to do on the lineup, this Sox team is better than last series Sox team.

Josh Bell has had an ok career, but at what point do the Twins move on? His defense is awful. Can we carry a DH who only hits .216?

Yeah, it's not so bad when it's been quite some time since the last blowout.

And only 5 HRs in 210+ PAs. But since this is the Twins, they'll give him probably until the Trade Deadline to turn it around. They do not give up on their biggest offseason acquisitions lightly.

Never said that wasn't part of it. But it's no coincidence that Prielipp has fallen apart since Jeffers got hurt. Jeffers knew how to settle him down. The others do not.
