I was bummed when the Twins put Henriquez on waivers in February, I thought he was gonna be a decent bullpen guy.

I don't believe Henriquez ever pitched that poorly for the Twins.  IIRC, he was part of a roster crunch move.  Of course, the pitcher we had to keep was so valuable to us that I don't remember who it was that we lost Henriquez for.

The twins had and still have a bevy of talented pitchers. There was simply no room for the young man. Apparently

I agree.  I fear that if the Rays sale is completed somewhere around the $1.7B price tag, the Twins won't be sold anytime soon.

The FO needs to know if he’s gonna sign an extension or walk to FA. It will be wildly unpopular but if he’s not gonna sign here, then we gotta think about what he can bring back in a trade

Mystery solved:  We DFA'd Henriquez to sign Danny Coulombe.  Probably could have operated the rest of the bullpen better but can't complain about that transaction.
