Come on now.  I'ts a tie game in the 9th and they're at home.  There is no possibility of a save situation.  Are you suggesting they don't use him at all?

In this instance bringing in your closer in the 9th inning of a tied game when you're the home team is exactly what you would do as a closer.  Just didn't work out as Duran didn't execute.  Every other team has their closer out in that exact situation.
