Said it was reported in error. That is correct, according to all of the Twins' reporters, some of whom originally reported that Buxton had cleared the protocol.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 Gotta be honest, don’t love the Ryan “I’m so quirky” bit, but I do love how he’s been pitching IndianaTwin and Twins_Fan_in_NJ 2

Provus provided some details yesterday and some more today. France's foot was bothering him before he fouled a ball off of that sore spot. Today Provus said that he has a bandaged heel. He suffered a broken heel last year IIRC. Under different conditions, I would think he might be on the IL. Patzky 1
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 Did they just show Ryan flipping off the crowd when they were showing him "visualizing how he wants to release the ball"? And to be clear, it wasn't a vulgar expression. They just showed him extending his arm and flipping the wrist in his throwing motion, but it looked like he had the middle finger extended. Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 Damn too bad pitch counts matter because I’d watch him throw 200 tonight with how he’s mowing the brewers down mrtwinsfan, David HK and Patzky 3
ziggy Verified Member Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 I wonder if Ryan feels like he has to do it by himself tonight? Patzky 1
