Twins (Paddack) vs White Sox (Perez): 3/31/25, 1:10pm

LMFAO. I know its only 3 games and its insane to say, but they should fire Rocco right now in between innings. This is based on the last half of last season and the beginning of this season. That is not a very small sample size. This team needs a spark. there is no life at all. We are getting killed by the rebuilding Cardinals and the literal worst team of all time White Sox.

I know I keep harping on the poor guy to the point I owe him compensation for pain and suffering, but the White Sox, who thought Joey Gallo wasn't good enough to make their roster on a minor league deal, are beating us! 😔

Rocco's part of the problem. Bringing in a new manager might give them a short-term shot in the arm and a sense of urgency, but over the course of an entire season, it wouldn't matter a whole lot. This is a bad baseball team.

Our players dont develop in the minors. They just rehab in the minors. Seems like they have limited bullets to use. Lets not waste the ammo in the minors

Keaschall yes, Rodriguez soon, and I'd be VERY open to Festa or Zebby for Paddack now, with the other coming up soon. I'd like Jenkins get some time in AA before that decision is made, and I'd keep Prielipp in AA for a bit too lengthen him out.

Overall, they need to add life to the lineup. Keaschall and Rodriguez would do that.

I also agree that both Festa and Zebby are better today than Paddack.

The Twins minor league system is ranked anywhere from #10-22. Overall it is fair to state the system is in the middle of the 30 MLB clubs. 

The issue for the Twins is that there is simply not a record of this front office/ manager sticking a rookie in the lineup and letting them play. This means, the roster now is the team.

The better question is how many current players on the roster would you not want to lose? 2? 3?

Yup. He's a symptom of a larger issue and it wouldn't solve the massive issues this roster has... but even I as one who has continued to argue that managers don't have as big of effect on the game as most think they do, he needs to go after how 2024 ended. But so does the front office and the minor league development staff.
