  1. Wally Karbo : “ there’s going to be fines there’s going to be suspensions”
  2. Or as Wally Karbo might say there’s going to be fine’s there’s going to be suspensions!
  3. I think most people could agree history is the best indicator of future performance, and based on that Chris Paddack is worth very very little. If you can trade him and get some salary, relief that you can actually roll into a serviceable role player iby all means, do so.
  4. Twins still have the best pitching staff in the AL Central. It will be interesting to see how the youngsters develop if Festa takes another step forward and we can bolster the bullpen with Louis Varland. We’re going to be a competitive team. I believe the biggest problem is that are core star positional players all have a consistent history injury. If someone like the Yankees are willing. To give a strong package and Carlos is willing to waive no trade that is a gamble I would make because it solves their self imposed payroll issues completely.
  5. Actually this season proves doubter’s we’re right. Second best season of his 10 year career and he knocks in 50 runs, scores 60 and steals nine bases. He is paid 12.5% of total payroll.
  6. I also have been following The Twins since the 60s played little league with Harmon Killebrews son Cam. I moved to Orange County 36 years ago but still have the childhood attachment to the twinkies. This was the most disappointing stretch I can remember. The Twins 3 best players all played about a hundred games and in all honesty, the rest of the every day lineup just isn’t that good. The injuries to the pitching staff, and the under performance of all but three of our relief pitchers in the last two months spelled doom. I’m sure some coaches will get the axe maybe even Rocco but with some luck with our young pitchers and positional prospects we may be competitive for 2025 and beyond.
