The Twins have claimed catcher Jhonny Peredaoff waivers from the Athletics, per an announcement from the latter club, who designated him for assignment a few days ago. Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports that the Twins have optioned Pereda to Triple-A St. Paul and designated catcher Jair Camargo for assignment as the corresponding move.

Per Aaron Gleeman--Jefffers on the Paternity List and Mickey Gasper added. Gasper has been slumping at St. Paul. His OPS is down considerably and he hasn't done much since returning from the Injured List at St. Paul.

30 year old righty reliever Thomas Hatch claimed off waivers from KC, supposedly to be added to the 26 man tomorrow.  There was space on the 40 man, but no word yet on the corresponding active roster move
