I hope at least Zebby learns something from this. He won’t be in the rotation to begin next year, but he’ll be up again at some point.

We’ve got some good young pictures pushed into service too early. Zebby starts at AAA next year and maybe we see him after the ASG.

Concur. If they are able to start the season with Lopez-Ober-Ryan-Paddack-SWR, the experience Festa and Matthews have gotten as they head back to St. Paul could be invaluable.

I really hope they don't count on Paddack again.  There is no good history of coming back from 2 TJ surgeries.  And he is not that good of a pitcher, one good year in 2019.  Can we set the bar a little higher or else you may  as well go with the kids.

If we have to rely on Paddack next year, we are asking for the same results as this year.  Haven't we learned anything? I absolutely cringe when people keep bringing up Paddack! If we aren't trying to get someone better than that, throw in the towel now.

I hate to say it. But I can see them doing the same thing with Paddack as they did this year with Farmer and Margot. They overpaid for their services and have to put him out there to justify the contract. I wish they would put Paddack in the bullpen as a Brian Duensing type, but it won’t happen.

Ok. What do you think about the speculation of Jax wanting to be in the rotation? I think it would be a mistake but I’m curious of other’s opinions.
